Elijah's Pov:
I just finished talking to the wolves of Hayley's pack about what was going on with the witches and vampires. I kindly reminded them of what would happen if they went against my family.
"You didn't have to be so mean about it." Hayley said with a frown.
"How else would they have understood?" I shot back with a smirk.
"Oh, Elijah, you could've used your charm on them. It wor-"
She was cut short by me vampire speeding off because I heard a heartbeat. I went in the direction of it until it sounded like it was in front of me. But I didn't see anyone.
"What was that about?" Hayley said catching up to me.
"Sorry, I thought I heard something." I looked down when I saw it.
I moved back some of the bushes and leaves. That's when I saw it was a baby. I could smell the blood on her, she was basically a new-born.
"Elijah, I have the vampire hearing like you and I didn't even hear that. How did you?" She was just as confused as me.
"I don't know." I said looking at the baby.
"What are we going to do with her?" She was looking between me and the baby.
"I'm not sure. I can get an apartment or something and keep her there for a bit of time. But I'll need to make you forget about her until she's older." I looked up at her with sorry eyes.
"Elijah, that's okay with me. Especially with Klaus." She had a more serious tone now.
"Then let us be on our way." I said looking up at her.

We got to the apartment that I compelled. Hayley went to get baby stuff. I stayed there and cleaned the little girl off. She was beautiful.
"What are we going to name you?" I said looking at her.
"I'm back Elijah. Have you chose a name for her yet?" Hayley said walking into the apartment.
"That's what I was about to do, but I don't know what to name her." I said staring at the little baby.
"Lily? Leah? Bethany?" Hayley asked trying to help me pick a name.
"I know what I want to name her."
"What?" Hayley asked being very confused.
"Lenza... Ray Mikaelson." I don't know where I got Lenza, but I chose the middle and last name in the car, not that the last name was a question.
"Lenza?" Hayley asked.
"Yes. Now I need to compel you until she's a bit older." I said clearly not wanting to.
"Elijah. It's okay, just compel me." Hayley said reassuringly.
"You will leave and go back to the compound you will remember nothing of Lenza or this apartment. We spoke to the wolves and you went home but you do not know where I went." I said staring deep into her eyes compelling her.
