From the way this reading looks, it seems the dream came from an ending venture that is somehow not yet complete and it's trying to tell you that there are certain priorities or needs that must be made to be successful and that, by working towards your independence you will find the closure needed. To better connect it to the dream, perhaps that golden horse represents whatever is holding you back and your actions in the dream represent how you will gain your independence.
