The case was over, my parents were finally separated. Mom's lawyer didnt come to me so I was confused about what I had to do.
I saw dad coming out of the building. All alone. I didnt notice how long I had been looking at him until he looked back at me. He noticed my sad confusion and decided to come to me.
"So your mom's lawyer didnt come to you yet huh?"
I shook my head. Dad sighed.
"Then I guess Ill have to the "talking" with you finally"
He made me sit down with him.
"Your mom and I, we dated in high school. It was fun. We saw each other daily, did a lot of things together, if you know what i mean" He left a small giggle.. "But he didnt realize it was just physical attraction, just us using each other for fulfilling our needs, until we had you.
Life changed drastically ever since. We realized we couldnt stand each other. We started to hate each other" His eyes filled with guilt. "And yesterday we both reached our limits, I reached mine before your mom, and I hit her."
I felt like I went in a void after hearing that.
"And then it was all over" He sighed. "But guess what now? You gwt twice the christmas presents now" He tried to cheer me up but failed.
"Look, champ, I know I failed you. The only lesson I wanted you to learn is never prefer physical and sexual attraction overpower yoir feelings for someone. Stay with who you love, its all useless otherwise. We all make mistakes, we all have a hard time. Its just how we handle it.
We've come to a comclusion that you'll spend one month at both of your parent's places. One month with mom, then one with dad. Ok?"
I nodded.
Mom's lawyer came running to our direction but dad shooed him away.
"Its your mom's turn to keep you now, see you next month.
Also you can call me anytime, ANY TIME, ok?"
I nodded again, I wasnt crying this time, I was so numb I couldnt feel anything.
"See you Aiden.."
"See you dad"

Brad's P.O.V
I rushed to their table with ten drinks, the guest on the table tripped me over, and all of the drinks landed on the floor.
The other guests started whining, and my boss rushed to the table.
"What is going on?" Boss asked me.
"Im sorry, he just tripped me down" I pointed at the person who did
The guest looked at me angrily, and kept calling me a liar and irresponsible.
