Aiden's P.O.V(warning: sexual scene ahead)
We were exploring the savannah in his jeep. I was still thinking about my family, Julian, Daniel and all of the people at the restaurant.
Cory poked me, asking if I was okay
"Yeah Cory Im fine, I just miss all my loved ones. I wonder what their fate was"
"As soon as I get signal on my phone, I'll let you make as many calls as you want"
I smiled.
"What about you Cory? Dont you miss anyone?"
He thought for a second, then said
"Not really, Im not Canadian. Im from America. Theres no one I love here. "
"Oh.."
"But yeah, theres a guy... I wanna know if he's fine."
His expression grew equally sad and aggressive.
I thought it was better to not disturb him.
He kept driving, since the wind was nice and the view was beautiful, I thought I'll set myself a little loose and enjoy the moment.
The wind was crisp, it was fresh. There were a lot of oddly shaped trees around, the grass was tall and yellow.
"Aiden! A bar!"
"Huh?"
"I got a signal bar!!"
"What oh my god!?"
We were both screaming in the jeep.
He parked the jeep right there, and handed me the phone.
I quickly dialled dad's number
"...."
"...."
"...."
"Dad?"
"Aiden! God!! Where are you son? Your mom and I were so worried!? We were crying the whole day thinking that we lost you! Where are you?? Tell us so we can bring police with us there"
"Dad Im fine.. A really nice guy named Cory saved me from the massacre. How are Julian and Daniel?"
"Those lads are with us. Police infiltrated the area and a lot of kids were saved. It was a horrific scene, seeing hundreds getting shot and crushed. The land is still under gangsters. But the police brought the kids to their knowns really quick. The mayor then announced that we leave the place immediately, before getting shot. We are at the brooke. ...."
The voice started glitching, I looked at the phone, the signal was unstable.
"I repeat, we are at the brooke!... wee.."
"Im at the savannah dad! Dont worry about me!"
I screamed in the phone, the call then got cut
I handed him his phone
"Thank you!"
"Couldnt talk properly huh?"
"Signal problem, but we communicated. They are at the brooke"
"Now thats far away."
"Its fine Cory.. its fine"
"I have the perfect plan!"
He beamed up randomly
He started driving
"Whats the plan"
"This savannah is really huge, we can have a nice exploration and we can camp here!"
