Chapter 7 (Annie's Pecking)

Ananya's PoV:-

It's been two days since I have been here, in this huge mansion, where no one talks, no one is around except the help. I am gonna die in this huge mum place.

I groaned loudly, I am trying to sleep but can't sleep. I haven't seen Justin since I had his tests last time. He barely let's anyone in his room. When he wants, he orders his meals through telephone and then shuts his door as soon as the servants are out.

He is just zoning out, keeping things within himself. I need to dig out his past. I need to find , why he is so angry, or moody. This anger will only increase his migraines , he will suffer more and more by each passing day.

I have been lost in my thoughts, unable to sleep, I gave up, wrapped myself in a huge robe covering my body, I went to the terrace. It's the best place to think. Moreover, I feel nearer to dad with stars, and dad will be the best help for me right now. He was the best psychiatrist of Cold Springs. I followed his footprints in my career. Maa, is the best gynecologist , I once wanted to be that but after dad's death, I decided to follow his footprints. I am glad that I am a doctor now. I just hope, I was just half what dad was.

"Dad. I need you" I whispered looking at the brightest star in the night sky.

"Dad, you know , he doesn't wanna share his past. How can I start with his medication if he won't tell me what's eating him up"

"I know I should be his friend, or.... Shit....friends. His friends, his family.... " A smile broke on my face when my brain started forming an idea in my mind. I have a perfect plan to make him open his mouth.

"Thank you so much dad. I love you" I yelled.

"Dad. Maa miss you. She loves you. I know I shouldn't have left her home alone, but you know a doctor's life is more than his family. Dad. Do something no. Bring her here. I need her" I started talking to dad once again.

"So, you are weird or some evil spirit has attacked you lately" came an amusing laughter from behind.

I turned around, and saw Justin strolling towards me with a grin on his face. I took a step back , when he was near me. He never stopped though, a frown formed on his forehead, and he grabbed my chin lightly. He then wiped something off my face, "What made you cry?" He asked.

I touched my cheeks, indeed I am crying.
."oh...it's nothing..." I whispered really softly.

"Ok. Don't tell me. " He said pulling out a cigarette from his back pocket and lighting.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I whisper-yelled at him.

"Hey... What did I do?" He asked confused.

"You can't smoke"

"I can , see " he said puffing a huge smoke and blowing it out upwards.

"Justin shut up. Don't do that. It's harmful for your body" I pulled the cigarette out off his hand and stabbed it with my feet.

"Keep your hands to yourself Miss Doctor. Or else you'd not like the consequences" he grumbled loudly.

"Ohhh really????" I whispered sarcastically.

"Yes" he said staring at me.

I rolled my eyes looking upwards. He closed the gap, and I panicked. Naah... I didn't panic, my breathing increased , my eyes got locked with his, and I tilted my head a little, as if he is gonna kiss me. He looked at me with adoration, gently caressed my cheek , rubbed his thumb on my lips gently. I parted my lips, breathing heavily, his eyes focused on my lips, I closed my eyes, feeling the warmth from his hand . I heard a hitching of a breath and a loud groan, then his hands were off my face.
