Mia's PoV:-

I sat numbly in front of the operation theatre waiting for the doctors to come out and let me know how he was. I know he won't leave me , he won't go anywhere , he need to be with us. I need him , our baby needs him.

I gently placed my hand on my tummy rubbing it, "baby, daddy will be back with us soon, be strong"

I was deep in my thoughts when a team of doctors rushed inside the OT. Ariana's grip tightened on my hand. I tried not to feel the piercing pain in my heart but that didn't happen. It got worst when I saw the IV being attached to Adwin from the glass window. I stood there staring at that little window for too long, they tried to bring him back but he was gone. Gone. He left us.

Out came the doctors with a sad face, I stood and stared at the now open door.
I heard someone speaking but couldn't make out what they were saying about Adwin. My Adwin. As if he was gone. Gone. He can't do that. No he won't leave us.

He won't leave me, won't leave the baby. He won't.

I walked inside my eyes remained focused on his pale and bloodied face.

"Mia." I heard someone sobbing pathetically beside me but my eyes were unblinkably looking at my love. My love. My Adwin. He won't leave me. He won't.

"Mia, he is Gone" someone spoke trying to pull me away from my Adwin. I shook my head and grabbed his hand in mine. "No" I whispered numbly.

I placed his hand on my cheek, caressing it as he would do. A smile broke on my face when I felt the same spark , he won't leave us baby. He won't. Be strong. Like mumma. I touched his cheeks rubbing away a little blood off his face. "Mia. "

"Stop it. All of you just stop. He is here. He is not going anywhere. Please" I yelled grabbing his hand and kissing it.

"Mia come with me " someone grabbed my hand and tried pulling me away from him.

"No..... Adwin.... Adwin....leave me. Adwin...wake up. Don't you dare scare the baby. Wake up at once Adwin. You have to be with us. Your baby needs you. You promised me nothing will happen to either of us. You promised me, we will see our baby together. Adwin...." I cried pulling away from the grasp. When I was free , I hugged him pulling him in my arms. "Adwin. Wake up. They won't believe me. I know you won't leave us. Adwin. You are scaring the baby" I spoke ever so lightly.

"I think we should leave her alone with him for a while" someone spoke. I couldn't focus on anything but my Adwin. His pale face.

When I heard the door being closed , my breathing increased, "Adwin. Please stop it. You are scaring us. Now. The baby is getting weak. "

I placed his hand on my tummy caressing the baby as he would, and gently kept my head on his chest, "Adwin. I love you. The baby loves you. We are scared of losing you please wake up. "

I layed there , my hands in his hair, gently massaging him, giving him the strength. I closed my eyes and all the beautiful memories started playing in my head. How we met, how he cared, how we sang and how we loved. Everything. I started whispering our song, softly.

My eyes opened wide , when I felt something. It was faint really faint but I am sure I heard it. "Adwin. I can hear you" I whispered my eyes started getting numb. But I wiped my those wet eyes, I need my baby not to get scared yet.

When I heard his heartbeat once again, I pressed the button, repeatedly to call the doctors.

Soon the room filled with doctors and nurses.

"I...I heard his heartbeat. He is with us . He is there with us" I stood up explaining them, still trying not to cry. I felt a tug at my shoulder and someone grabbed me in a hug. "Adwin. Please be strong" I whispered.

"He will" I recognised the voice now, it was Ariana and Ryan.

"Yes she is right. There is a heartbeat. A very faint. " One of the doctors confirmed and they all started working for him, fighting again his life for me for our baby.

One of the nurse asked us to leave but I didn't move a single bit. Rather I moved aside giving them access to move out.

Adwin's PoV:-

I could hear her cry, she was trying to be strong for me, for our baby. I tried moving my hand but couldn't. I tried calming her but couldn't. All the strength in me left me. I don't know why it seemed so useless to be able to hear her but couldn't comfort her. It was difficult.

I heard people moving around myself and everything blazed out. Once Again.

Your baby will be dead as your wife will be dead in a few seconds. I will rip her heart out and will take her far away from you.
I tried catching him but I couldn't. I was weak. So weak that I couldn't hold him. So weak that I couldn't get a grip on him.

"Noooo.... "

"Leave her. You bastard" I yelled pushing myself off the bed and making my towards her.

"Noooo..."

"Adwin" Mia's panicky voice brought me back to the present.

"Adwin. I am here. Please wake up" I flickered my eyes open blinking at the brightness.

"Adwin." She started crying pathetically hugging me.

"You scared us" her voice a faint whisper as if she was talking to herself.

"I love you" she whispered kissing my lips softly.

"I l..ov.e you Señorità" I whispered kissing her.

Placing my hand on her tummy, "I love her too, my baby girl. " I whispered.

"Hey.. how can you it's a girl?" Mia asked smiling.

"I know. Because she is strong. Strong as her mumma" I answered pulling her in for a hug.

Her hands rubbing my head, she kissed my forehead.
