Chapter 25 (Secret)

Annie's PoV:-

It's been a week since we met Bella and her family in the park. Justin has been really doing well after that meet. He exercises daily z have his breakfast as I tell him to do. He is back to that good boy, Ariana told me about.

I tried meeting Liam and ask him about Adwin but things are so complicated with Justin. I really don't wanna hike his anger because of no reason.

We are doing really great and I wish to be here forever. I never thought I will be so in love with this place and would never want to leave here. But as I am witnessing that Justin will be fine soon and he won't be needing a doctor in a week or so it is becoming so difficult to imagine life without him around.

I have another task in hand right now . My focus is only on Ryan and Ariana. I want them to be back to what Maa told me they were. I am focusing on their schedule, I realised that they both are never in the same room and if they are, they are either fighting or silently ignoring each other's presence.

I want this to be a happy family as it should be. I hope that day isn't too far.

"Annie, darling. I am going for the shopping for a charity gala , would you like to accompany?"

"Yeah sure, I would love to go shopping with you Ariana. Just give me a moment to get ready" I said closing my book and getting up off the bed.

She smiled and left the room.

I am gonna ask about her, it's the best way to have a conversation with her.

We were carrying loads of bags talking about various things particularly about this charity gala she always attends. She mentioned about how she feels the orphaned kids are more like a family. She even have adopted a girl child from the orphanage who is just 2 months and was found on the stairs of the orphanage. She named her Ella and soon she will be bringing her home.

I was glad she will have her in her life atleast. Her life will be not that miserable anymore.
It was getting dark and we decided to get some dinner with us for everyone. We take away the dinner and reached home at around 7pm to find Ryan pacing around the hall in some sort of tension.

"Miss Singh. We need to talk " he said when he saw us. I gulped and nodded.

He strode towards his study without a second glance at us.

"What is it? Is Justie ok? Where is he? " Ariana asked following him but Ryan ignored her completely as usual.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her back , when she was about to hit a vase near the stairs.

"Ariana stay here. I will talk to him. Let's see what he wants "

She nodded trying not to sob already. I gave her a reassuring smile and followed Ryan. I knocked at the door and entered without waiting for his reply.

"Sir. " My voice echoed loudly.

"You are requested to leave this premises by tonight" he took out a cheque and placed it on the table with a loud thud.

I flinched at that anger. What did I do? I didn't do anything to them. I am doing my best to reunite them rather.

"But sir..."

"You may leave now" he shouted.

I nodded and turned around to leave but was collided with a very furious Justin.

"You did that. Right? I wasn't wrong then. " He growled shooting daggers at his dad.

I gulped looking between the two in confusion.

"Justin stay away from this. Don't say anything when you don't know the truth" Ryan yelled.

"You did that or not?" Justin shouted.

"Yes. I did that. Happy? Now leave from here. I don't want her to be in this house now" Ryan shouted.

"Congratulations dad. Because no one will be here now. It's enough for all of us. I will see you in the court" Justin took my hand and dragged me out of the room. I saw Ariana from my peripheral vision rushing towards us.
"Justie. Please don't leave . I have only you left. Don't go please" she begged but to no avail because we were both already out of the mansion by then.

We were in the car within seconds and he was already speeding away the next minute. I remained silent for the whole ride. When he turned onto the highway only then I realised we headed towards my home, my town, the Cold Springs. I gulped staring at him but he ignored my stare and continued driving with a clenched mouth.

I woke up when I felt someone lifting me up in the arms. I opened my eyes groaning. Justin smiled kissing my lips lightly. We entered the little house, I don't whose it was though.

He knocked and we heard the barking of the dog from within. The door was opened by an old lady with specks on her eyes and stick in hand. She raised her eyes looking at us across from her specks.

"Justie. My baby is that you ?" She asked with pure ecstasy.

I tried to wiggle out of his arms but he kept me in his arms in a bridal-style the entire time.

"Yes Grandma. It's me. Can I come in? " He asked smiling.

"Of course. What happened to this pretty woman?" She asked looking at me for injuries.

"Nothing Granny. She was asleep." He said entering into the hall.

He placed me on the couch and stretched his muscles.

"Oh...my...she is so pretty" Grandma said looking at me in the light.

I blushed nervously. "Good Evening Ma'am"

"Oh.. silly girl, never call me that. Call me Granny or Gran but not that please" she said grabbing my hand and looking at my ring finger.

"You are not a Knight yet?" she asked.

I blushed at that and Justin chuckled.

"Not yet Granny. Not yet" he said looking at me with a smirky look.

"But soon" he murmured entering the kitchen.

"I will prepare dinner for us. " He said taking off his shirt and washing his hands.

"I had my dinner along with my Nod" she said nodding towards the dog who was wagging his tale looking at us, ready to be introduced.

"Ok Granny. I will prepare for Annie then. " He said smiling at me.

My stomach growled loudly and they both started laughing.

"I should hurry" he whispered chuckling.

Ohhh my God. This twist will turn the story upside-down. I never expected I will bring such a twist in Annie and Justie's story.
