Chapter 23

Stella's P.O.V.

I led Kat outside to the car with Kaiden behind us. I helped Kat in then got in the front seat. "So where to ladies?" Kaiden asks. I laugh and look back at Kat. "Anywhere you want to go?" I ask her and she shrugs. "I don't know anywhere." She says. I look at Kaiden. "Lets go to the cafe in town." He says. I nod and sit back as he drives.

We got to the cafe and walked in. We were seated and a woman came to get our orders. We ordered and the woman walked away. "So how are you liking the pack Kat?" Kaiden asked her. She smiles. "Most people are nice so far. But that other girl doesn't like me very much...." She frowns. "Well not everyone will like you but that doesn't matter. What matters is that you're here and you're safe with us." He tells her and she smiles with a nod. Our food is brought out and we eat. "Do you like it Kat?" I ask her. "Yeah it's really good!" I smile and we all finish eating. I look at Kaiden who suddenly went stiff. "What is it?" I ask him. "Oh, nothing sorry. I just thought I saw something but it's nothing." He smiles at me and I just shrug and smile. We pay and head back home. Kat falls asleep on the way home and Kaiden carries her inside the house up to her room. After putting Kat to bed we go to our room. I change into more comfortable clothes and get into bed. Kaiden takes off his shirt and changes into some shorts then climbs in beside me. His arms go around my waist, pulling me close to him. "I love you Stella." He says softly. "I love you to Kaiden." And with that we fall asleep.

So since this is a very short chapter I am giving you a gift. I am finally going to upload pictures of the characters. This chapter will be the first and you get to see Kaiden! Hope you like who I chose!
