I'm Not Weak

17 days.

We could do this in 17 days, right?

What if we don't find the wood hive in 17 days?

The results won't be settling.

It was the weekend meaning no class. Which was a good thing because today was my go day to plan that shit with Luna again. No one has heard from her in a couple of days. At least not me.

I guess you could say that was a good thing. That meant no one had died and to Luna we were on the urge of dying in her mind.

But that wouldn't stop me from trying to get on Luna's good side again. Or anyone's good side.

The pendulum that we had received from Carrie was the strongest, but in order for it to work the strongest, you have to use it a bunch of times to make it get used to finding things like the wood hive.

The wood hive had a spell put on it, making it hard to find. So us just having a standard pendulum wouldn't be enough.

That is why Maya, Madeline, and Eli have been using the pendulum around the school to attract random things. A couple days later and the pendulum was ready to find something like the wood hive.

I had to make Luna believe that I was sorry and talk to her a lot so that the rest of the group can sneak into Luna's room and use the pendulum to find the wood hive.

We plan on finding both the weapon and spell in the next week. Because next week we plan on working on the spell with the ingredients we found in Luna's room in the library.

Once we're finally all ready, we kill her. We're going to have to bribe Luna to come to the library or somewhere quiet so people don't know we're going to kill Luna. I'll have to kill her since I'm the only one that can't die.

Maya and the group come in with the pendulum.

"Does everyone know their roles today?"

Everyone nods their heads. "So Hazel what about you are you ready?" I sigh. "Gonna have to be." Maya looks at me. "Just try your best. You'll be fine." "And what about you guys? What if you get caught?"

"We won't, there's no need to worry. Ashley and Delilah will make sure to do a boundary spell on the door so no one can get in. We won't get caught that way." I sigh again and facepalm. "Just be careful guys. We only have 17 more days now isn't the time to fall behind." I say looking at each of them.

"You be careful too." Drew says as he comes over to me. "We don't need to lose you either."

Drew rests his hands on my shoulder and lightly kisses my forehead. He smiles at me and I smile back. "Go find that wood hive now." Drew winks at me and leaves with the rest of the group.

I make my way down the stairs and keep my eyes open for Luna. I walked past the front desk where Jada was writing something down. I stop and walk towards her.

"Jada?"

She looks up at me and says, "What?"

I gulp. "Do you know who Headmaster Luna is?" Jada looks at me and then at her notes. She looks at her computer and then looks back at me. "She's supervising at the moment." I sigh. "Do you think you could call her down so I could talk to her?"

Jada stares at me for a long time. "What for?" I think for a moment on what I should say. "I just have a question about dining hall times and I want to confirm it with her." The lie was kinda stupid but I think she believe it because the next thing she does is grab her phone to call her.

I waited there for a while, staring at all the different notes she had lying on her desk. Eventually, Jada hangs up the phone and looks back at me. "She'll be down in 5 minutes. Go wait there." Jada says as she points to the bench.
