(Picture for nostalgia)

It was the day after you had and Link had grown closer and you were once more woken by the yelling of the headmistress. You and Naomi both got ready for the day and went out to read the job board. "Y/n, clean up the gardens, Naomi, help the chefs clean in the kitchen." You read out loud. Both you and Naomi high-fived since you both had gotten somewhat enjoyable jobs.

You knew all of the garden tools would be in the garden shed so you went over there without any stopping along the way. You walked by Princess Zelda and waved at her but she quickly averted her gaze and walked faster to her room. Link wasn't following her after what she had told him yesterday. You frowned but waited to talk to her at a later date.

Once you had made your way to the garden you had grabbed a watering can and started watering the flowers that bordered the garden. You made sure to take your time since you knew how delicate they were. After a while of watering all of the flowers and plants, you put the watering can down and grabbed a bucket.

Earlier while watering the flowers you had noticed weeds scattered here and there and saw that they had needed to be pulled. So, with the rest of the time until lunch, you had weeded as much as you could.

Lunch came quickly since you had your hands relatively full of the garden activities. You met Link outside the kitchen doors just like every other day and questioned his laughing figure. He pointed at his cheek and you rubbed the one opposite of what he was talking about unintentionally.  He rolled his eyes and walked over to you, using his thumb and wiping some dirt off of your cheek. You blushed and laughed. He walked into the kitchen and you followed. You two had grabbed your plates of food and made your way to the bench in the garden. You smiled at your handy work so far and sat down.

You and Link didn't have too much to talk about besides how your days had gone. You two ate in silence but it was a comfortable silence. You both were watching the fish in the pond along with the mother duck and her ducklings that you had seen on Saturday. Lunch had passed relatively quickly and you and Link had made your way back to the castle.

After both of you had placed your plates in the kitchen and thanked the chefs you had talked outside.

"It's honestly been really nice to have lunch and dinner with you, Link." You smiled. You two hugged once more. The hug always seemed to hold so much emotion with the stress both of you held. After the long, tight, but comforting hug, you two went your separate ways once more.

You were once more in the garden and you had continued to weed the garden. You were close to being done when you saw another hand pulling weeds beside you. You looked up and saw Leo smiling.

"Hello Y/n." Leo smiled. Both you and him had stood up so you could talk face to face.

"Hi Leo, what are you doing here?" You asked him, you held the bucket full of weeds in front of you.

"I was just coming by to say hi. I was given a quick break so I wanted to go to the garden, and it turns out you're here." He smirked.

"I'll let you stay but only if you help me with my work." You rolled your eyes.

"You're going to make me work on my time off? How rude." He joked. You laughed but then proceeded to nod. He sighed but then happily followed you to the garden shed. He waited by the door of the shed as you grabbed some potted flowers, two watering cans, and a trowel.

"I'm going to use you to make this go a lot faster." You smirked. He raised his eyebrows but followed you over to an empty flower bed. You placed the flowers beside you and dug a few shallow holes. "Follow my lead." You instructed.

You took a flower out of its pot and used your fingers to loosen the dirt around the roots. Some of the dirt fell into the flower bed which is what you wanted. You placed the flower into the hole you had dug and used your hands to pat down the soil around the flower. You grabbed a watering can and watered the flower.

When you looked over at him you saw a firm look on his face as he mimicked your actions. While he was loosing the dirt around the roots it had gotten into the grass, so you picked it up and threw it into the flower bed. He shrugged at you and you continued to watch him follow your actions. He was able to do what you had done almost the exact same.

"Good job!" You congratulated. "Now we only have a few more. I'll dig the holes and you can get started on planting them."

With that being said you had started digging the holes nearby each other in a pattern that would fill the flower bed. By the time you had finished digging the holes, he had already gotten a few flowers planted. You beamed and joined him but on the opposite side of the flower bed. You two had finished planting them in minutes and you wiped the sweat off of your forehead.

"Thanks, Leo, I really appreciated your help today." You smiled, "I don't want to use you too much on your break."

"It's no problem, and my break was over a few minutes ago but I didn't want to ditch you." He laughed. "I'll explain that I was helping someone and hopefully, they'll let me off easily."

"Leo!" You laughed, "I didn't want to get you in trouble!." You scolded.

"Hey it's fine, I'm glad I could help you. Anyways, I'll see you later." Leo smiled and waved as he headed back into the castle.

You sighed and continued to do miscellaneous chores around the garden until dinner came around. This time you had made sure that you had no dirt on your face and met Link by the kitchen doors once more. He smiled at you and headed into the kitchen with you following. The same as any other time you had grabbed your food and thanked the chefs.

Once you two had made your way to the garden you sat down. You ate your food quickly while he ate his at a normal pace while examining you.

"Is it alright if I use the master sword again?" You asked placing your clear plate beside you on the bench.

Link grinned and gave you the master sword. You couldn't help but smile widely as the sword was placed in your hands. You stood in front of the bench and wielded the sword like you had the night before. Once Link had finished eating he stood beside you and assisted you with various attacks.

After a little longer, you two headed back into the castle. You two did your schedule of putting your plates away and embraced outside the door once more. To other people, it may seem odd to hug when you're only as close as you and Link were, but you two had grown close in the few days you've known each other. You two went your separate ways after saying goodbye.

Once you had made your way to your room you had cleaned up after a long day of gardening. You changed into your sleeping gown but once more didn't go to sleep. You stayed up for about an hour waiting for everyone to finally fall asleep. Once you had assumed everyone had gone to sleep you changed into your practice clothes and snuck out to the training grounds.

Like previous nights you had grabbed a sword similar to the master sword and begun practicing your motions and other attacks. You had used the tips Link had shown you from earlier to practice better methods. After a while of doing this, you had snuck back into your room. You changed into your sleeping gown once more and quickly fell asleep.

Little had you known, someone else in the room was awake and had observed as you left and came back in.

~Bada bing, bada boom. Another chapter is done. This one is purposely a bit shorter since the next one is going to be a wild ride. I know the picture at the top is Ocarina of Time but there aren't too many pictures of the castle I want to use since most of the castle is in ruins. I might start just using scenic pictures from around Hyrule. Anyways, I'll see you in the next chapter!~
