"Lisa!" For a moment, she felt the urge to stop and face him, but in the end she just continued striding in a desperate attempt to avoid the guy.

After a while of walk-running, Lisa felt her knees wobble. She panted while her hands grabbed the fountain grills to support her weak stance. She don't know if she can go any further, it feels like her energy suddenly drained down to zero.

How many days has it been? A week? Almost a month?

Ever since that painting session, she became confused with herself. Afraid of answers she doesn't want to hear, she avoided Jungkook.

At first, it wasn't noticable. She decided to join Minnie and Sorn during lunch so she doesn't have to be with Jungkook. During breaks, she doesn't stay in her classroom, when there's an early dismissal, she will flee from school. Until Jungkook noticed how apparent is her avoidance. She doesn't wait for him after class anymore, she doesn't stay at the art room anymore.

What is she afraid of, honestly? Lisa clutched her chest that is in a painful knot. Not only it gives her an awful feeling but also affecting everything she does. Since the other day she cannot paint any decent artwork because the picture of Jungkook's face and canvas kept on appearing in her mind, it's driving her crazy.

Does she like him? She shouldn't! What will he think of her? When she knows that ever since then he only sees her as a sister, a close friend. It is betrayal to fall for him, it isn't okay.

But is this the right thing to do? Ignore him forever? She cannot do that, it's been only few days but she feels like giving up already. She felt bad because she knows perfectly it's not only her that is affected, probably Jungkook too, clueless and confused as to why she's being distant.

"Dumbo..."
She muttered under her breath. The bell rang indicating it's lunch time for juniors, she heard the heavy steps of students and the forming noises from the hallways. The splash from the fountain caught her attention. Beneath it were coins and stones, in the present day of 2020 who still believes in such trivial things?

Jokes on her, because she just found herself searching for a coin on her purse, she pouted after realizing she doesn't have any coin.

Her sigh was cut off when she heard a loud splash, a familiar scent entered her nostrils. This time, however, her feet seems to be nailed on the ground.

She looked beside her and saw Jungkook with eyes closed and his palms clasped together.
"I wish my boss madame would talk to me and tell me what's wrong."
Jungkook opened his left eye to check if she's still there.

She felt her heart made significant beats, loud and heavy. She secretly grabbed the hem of her skirt and gripped on it tightly, afraid her bottled up feelings will slip.

"Lisa."

Lisa jolted as if waking up from a dream, she turned her heels in attempt to run away again only for Jungkook to grab her backpack. The guy pulled her to face him, which is an easy thing for Jungkook because he's stronger than her.

With his eyes expressing mixed emotions, Jungkook stared at her with glinting orbs mirroring hers that is probably giving the same damn expression.
"Let's talk."

"Are you perhaps mad at me?"
Jungkook said after closing the art room door, he made sure he brought Lisa somewhere she won't be able to run away from him.

Lisa on the other hand is just looking down while her arms are crossed above her chest.

"Hello?"
Jungkook tried getting her attention by waving his hand in front of her and making silly faces, to no avail, Lisa still refused to talk.

He sighed, falling in a silent state while torturing his mind to remember what he did wrong to upset Lisa like this.

"I'm sorry, did I really upset you? I didn't intend to make you mad at me—"

"Stop."
Lisa's voice is shaking, mustering her courage and strength to actually tell him what's her exact feelings, maybe it's about time.

"Sor—"

"It's not even your fault damn it."
Lisa turned her back to him hiding the visible vulnerable state of herself, she doesn't want him to see her weak and helpless.

Her stiff body calmed when she felt a warm embrace enveloping her whole being. Jungkook hugged her from behind, a hug that told her he longed for her and missed her so much.

Jungkook's arm snaked around her shoulders gave her the comfort she seems to lost for the past few days. She grabbed his hands with her trembling palm.

"Jungkook.."

"Hmm?"
Jungkook's hum vibrated on her neck.

"I like you."
There was a moment of silence. Lisa felt Jungkook's arms loosened up until he finally let go of her.

So this is it, our friendship is over already? She was about to walk out but then Jungkook grabbed a blank canvas under the table then set it up before grabbing few bottles of paints as well.

"You do?"

What kind of answer is that Jungkook? Straight up reject me and don't make me hope for more!

Lisa watched him silently painting, the guy has a good eye for symbolism and his artworks are always meaningful unlike hers. Their arts are total opposites.

Jungkook swiftly brushed without a sketch, it's her first time seeing him totally engrossed in painting. After a while he finished with a smile tugging her lips.

She stared at his painting in awe, it's the horizon.
"The line where the sky and the earth meets. It's the horizon."
Jungkook said.

Of course Lisa knows about that, but what is he trying to say?

"I like you too."
Jungkook held her hands, it was soft and it felt like she's finally safe.

Did she hear it right? He likes her, too? She was about to answer but then her palms felt sticky, she looked down and saw blue paint all over hands, Jungkook laughed loudly.

"You bitch! Come here!"
Jungkook ran across the room holding the canvas to shield him from Lisa's wrath.

He put the canvas aside to welcome the running girl and take her by surprise. Lisa let out a little squeak after stumbling across one chair, Jungkook luckily saved her.

They were in that not so romantic position for a moment before Jungkook lifted his hand to pinch her cheeks, of course, with paint. But Lisa was too busy admiring him to complain.

Jungkook pulled her to a hug, caging her body that is smaller than his huge frame.

"You're the sky to my earth, you can be very far away but I will still meet you at the horizon."
