"S-shit a lizard!"
I shrieked then threw my toothbrush towards the mirror. I shut my eyes closed to calm myself down.

Someone... No. Something is with me right now. With my own two eyes, I saw a smoky reflection on the mirror and there's no denying it's a figure of a person!

However, I should not let him, or it, see that I am afraid that's why I pretended to be scared of the lizard stuck on the top of the mirror.

I am so sorry, Mr. Lizard.

"Phew," I 'sighed in relief'.

"That shit scared me." I said out loud. I tried finishing washing my face without looking at the mirror. All the time, I was shaking. My feet were cold, so were my palms.

I turned off the faucet then ran my way towards my bed. As the cold air come into contact with my skin, I just noticed my torso was half bare.

Oh gosh, that thing must've saw my soul! No, no, no. That's so immodest! I should probably file a case.. or.. call the cops?

I hugged my body with my arms, oh no, was he the ghost former renters were talking about? Will he do me harm?

What if...

What if he kills me?

How?

I don't know... Uhh. By banging my head on his hard rock abs?

"For goodness' sake Lalisa, collect your shit." I muttered then washed my fave with my palms.

Alright let's recap. I just left home, trying to go on a "vacation", be independent for like 2-3 days, but then got lost, brought myself to a cheap apartment building because I am in a budget, got the cheapest room thinking I was a genius for it, and now roommates with a ghost?

Awesome. Great.

"What do I do know?"
In the middle of fighting with myself, I heard footsteps coming my way. I kept my head low, trying to hide the fear in my eyes. A pair of feet caught my eyes.

It went nearer and nearer... step by step, until it finally stopped in front of me.

"Dear Lord, thank you for guiding me today, I owe you every blessings that come my way." I said loudly, I'm sorry for praying as an excuse to avoid seeing whatever's in front of me, God.

Then his leg suddenly lifted as if he was about to ride my lap. My knuckles turned white as I pressed my fists together harder. Suddenly, a piercing cold feeling passed through me.

The feeling of riding a rollercoaster then it suddenly run into a loop? That was the nearest description. I pretended to fix the sheet of my bed but in reality, I was trying to check this thing that laid in my bed.

From the jeans he was wearing, my eyes kept on travelling.

Yes, he's still shirtless.

Before I even got to view him as a whole, I silently scolded myself. I should be pretending to not see him! They say ghosts won't do you harm if you ignore them, maybe he'll leave if I turn a blind eye.

But I am really curious of how he looks like. Earlier in the bathroom, everything happened quickly that I can only remember his eyes (and his abs) yes, his washboard abs.

Stop sexualizing a freaking ghost, Lisa, you're not Spectrophiliac, for dear's sake.

"I need a coffee."
I breathed out.

After seeing I successfully brought myself a pack of my favorite coffee, I almost yelled hooray, at least something good happened today huh.

"Won't I get more nervous with coffee?"

Meh. I need this.

I wanna go home. I need to go home right now, tell my mom I'm sorry and that I will never do it again. I should pack my things, get a cab, go straight home. Yes. That's right.

You've waited for this moment all your life. A side of my brain said. Yes I did, meaning, I can wait some more.

The horror of having an "unknown" inside my room right now is driving me insane. How am I supposed to sleep? I can't change rooms now, the lady already warned me, and I have a little cash left.

"This is horrible."
I melted. My knees felt weak that I fell on the ground, with my hands shaking in fear. My eyes widened when I heard footsteps coming near me, I covered both my ears with my hands and buried my face on my knees. My shoulders started to shake as I sobbed uncontrollably, this is so unfair, why does this have to happen with me?

The footsteps stopped, but the familiar bone-chilling presence surrounded me. I'm sure he's just a few steps away from me. I just want to disappear, forget this day ever happened.

I peeked with my eyes narrowed, he's standing in front of me, my voice cracked while sobbing. I wanted to scream when his knees bended as he crouched, but then I was greeted by the warmest pair of eyes I've ever seen. His eyebrows were bushy that made his eyes more prominent. His nose is proud and tall, and his lips... they were slightly apart, his closeness made his mole on his lower lip evident to me.

Shit.

"Omg, I forgot to call uhh mom."
I reasoned out then stood up, leaving, whoever, whatever that was. He can't know I see him, but freak my horny virgin eyes for ogling at him.

My legs made big and long steps to reach my room fast, I slammed my door shut. My breathing hitched when an air suddenly wooshed through me.

Oh my freaking gosh, of course ghosts can pass through things.

"I know you see me."

My steps halted when I heard his voice, it didn't surprise me how silky and soothing he sounds like. If I were to speak, his features were of an angel. But I won't eradicate the idea that ghosts shapeshift.

I picked up my phone, and with shaky hands, I tried finding mom's contact number. Until it was yeeted away from my hands.

"What the hell?"

"Now look at me."
He demanded.

No. Don't.

"Please."

Damn it.

"Gosh, I'm so clumsy how can I suddenly throw my phone."
I was about to get the phone thrown to the corner when he stood in the very front of me. My eyes tried looking past him.

Do ghosts always walk around half naked?

He then inched closer to me, his face a few centimeters from mine.
"Look closely."

After whispering that, he backed away, I was about to sigh in relief but then my throat suddenly felt clogged when he reached for his jeans' fly, slowly unzipping it in front of me.

"Jesus Christ, what are you doing!?"

I gasped when I realized how I just blew my cover, he smiled in triumph, his eyebrows wiggled with confidence.

"Knew it," He once again drew closer to me, "now to the talking."
