Chapter 8: The Union.

A week has passed since the incident, now Akshita and Abhinav are more close than ever, Now both have reached such a stage that now they are inseparable.

It's morning Abhinav reached into Akshita's room quietly with a bouquet of roses in his hands, Abhinav noticed that Akshita was still sleeping was had turned to the opposite side of the door.

Abhinav slowly took his shoes off and then softly made his way towards Akshita. Upon reaching Akshita Abhinav gently kissed her, Akshita woke up with a surprise and noticed Abhinav by her side "Morning" Abhinav said "What are you doing here" asked Akshita "Surprise" Abhinav said handing Akshita the rose bouquet then kissed Akshita again "What are you doing the girls will see us" said Akshita pushing Abhinav's face away. "They are asleep in their dollhouse" answered Abhinav "Still" said Akshita "At Least let me freshen up" added Akshita, "Ok" said Abhinav then left the room and proceeded downstairs.

After some time Abhinav sat in the sitting area with Mukta just as then Akshita came down then proceeded towards the kitchen and then after a minute came out towards the sitting area and sat down on one of the lounge chairs.

"You've come" said Abhinav "I was just discussing with your mom" added Abhinav "What" asked Akshita "His idea for your wedding" said Mukta "I was thinking why not do a simple wedding, Two of your supporters two of mine, We say our vows and sign a legal document at the same time and live happily ever after" explained Abhinav.

"Why not a traditional marriage" asked Akshita "Because no matter how hard we try we just please everyone, But what we can do is please ourselves" answered Abhinav "so, why not make it a private wedding" asked Abhinav "I agree" said Akshita "But let me be clear, I have some baggage with me" added Akshita "Kriti and Shraddha, I know and I accept them coming with you" said Abhinav "You do" asked Mukta "They are her responsibility" said Abhinav "And also Swati" said Akshita "Your assistant, I understand, without her your work will suffer" said Abhinav "Also because you need someone who cooks" said Akshita Abhinav nodded.

"Then it's settled, I'll start searching for a venue" said Abhinav then stood up, walked up to Akshita and then kissed her and then left.

A few hours later Akshita broke the news to Kriti & shraddha, both girls got excited to hear the news of Akshita's union. It took some days of searching and planning but now everything was set Akshita and Abhinav were finally getting married.

Four days later Akshita was at her office going through some designs for herself when suddenly her phone started ringing "It's him isn't it" asked Shraddha as Akshita reached for her phone, "Yeah" Akshita replied "He really loves you" said Kriti Akshita then nodded and then picked up the call. "Hi... Ok .... Great ... You Sure....Ok....Right, See you Bye" said Akshita on the phone while talking to Abhinav "Good News" asked Kriti "Abhinav has finalised a venue for your marriage" said Akshita "And" asked Shraddha "It's a surprise" said Akshita "I see" said Kriti "By the way. I have something to ask you both" said Akshita as she turned towards both girls "What" asked Kriti "Now that I'm getting married there might be a time when I Don't give you both enough attention as before, Hope that both of you don't feel offended" asked Akshita, then both girls looked at each other "We understand Akshita" said Shraddha "Yeah it's totally fine" added Kriti.

The day has arrived, the day of Akshita's and Abhinav's Marriage, Akshita's car arrived at the venue a small rustic chateau, Akshita got down from the back side of the car with Mukta, Swati got down having Akshita's purse containing both girls, the car then pulled away and then after a while Kiara joined them after parking the car.

Akshita was wearing an orange wedding dress with blue highlights, Mukta was wearing a white gown, Kiara was wearing a yellow dress and Swati had put on some trendy casual dress. The path was accented with bright pink flowers on both sides of the path Akshita was joined by Mukta and Kiara while both girls remained in a purse held by Swati who was behind Akshita all started to walk on the accented path.

After a walking the real venue was revealed, The path led to a gazebo which was backdropped by a artificial waterfall, the gazebo was decorated with the same flowers as the path, Abhinav stood in the middle of the gazebo wearing a blue suit, Behind him were two more people one was Pavit Abhinav's police friend and the other was unknown.

Akshita approached the gazebo and stood next to Abhinav. "Nice" said Akshita "Thanks, I knew you would like it" said Abhinav then an elderly man came towards the gazebo from the chateau. "May we" he said as he approached Abhinav "Yes" he said then both Akshita and Abhinav turned facing the waterfall. Both Pavit and Abhinav's other friend stood behind him as Mukta and Kiara stood behind her.

"Since the earliest of days, Many have enjoyed the happy privilege of joining together two people in the bonds of matrimony. And so it is my honor to unite you, Akshita, and you, Abhinav, together in matrimony..." the elderly man said then Abhinav pulled out a small box from his pocket and took out a diamond ring, then held Akshita hand.

"As your husband I promise to love you without reservation, to comfort you when times are difficult, to rally with you, to anticipate your needs, to give my all, to work toward our happiness and revel in our good times. I will respect you, honor you, and cherish you as long as we both shall live." said Abhinav and inserted the ring onto Akshita's ring finger.

Akshita looked at Abhinav and had a big smile on her face, "Oh" said Akshita as she broke from her trance then Swati handed Akshita a similar ring then Akshita held Abhinav's hand.

"I believe in you and in everything you want to be. I believe in us - in our power as a couple, in our future as a family, I believe in myself, that within myself I am capable of loving you the way you deserve. I believe that you and I should spend all our days together, me as your wife, I believe in you as my husband. I believe we were meant to be." said Akshita then inserted the ring onto Abhinav's ring finger.

Then another man came in a black suit came towards the gazebo, He held a business folder in his hand. The man approached both Akshita & Abhinav then started to open the folder, After opening the folder the man placed the folder in Abhinav's hand, the folder contained some papers "If you both please sign here please" said the man handing Abhinav a pen.

Both Abhinav & Akshita signed the papers in their respective places then the man took the folder and took some signatures of all the people present. After the signing was complete "Congratulations, I pronounce you Man and his Wife" said the elderly man.

Meanwhile in Akshita's purse Shraddha watched the entire show from a small opening "They look cute don't they" asked Kriti "They do" replied Shraddha "What are they doing" asked Kriti "They are kissing" replied Shraddha "Oh like always" claimed Kriti "Not on the cheek you idiot" said Shraddha "Then" asked Kriti "On the lips" said Shraddha "They are locking lips" asked Kriti "Yup" said Shraddha then Shraddha watched as Abhinav let go of Akshita and everyone started to celebrate "Ready for another adventure" asked Shraddha.
