The Choice

Chapter 2

Pumasok kaagad ako sa banyo para maligo. I remove my shirt and saw my body full of bruises. As I was showering I saw blood running down through my nose. 

"Fuck" pinatay ko kaagad ang shower at kumuha ng tissue.  Natigilan ako ng narinig kong kumatok si Anton.

"Bilisan mo na jan. It's almost 8 o'clock." he said. 

"Be there in a minute." I hid the tissues covered with my blood. 

Lumabas na ako at nagbihis. I wore my usual maroon polo and put on a perfume. I went down the stairs to eat breakfast.

"Good morning love" I kissed his cheeks for greetings and took a seat.

"I'll come home late tonight. May project kami and we have to pass it by tomorrow." he said while preparing our food.

"Okay. Just text me where and when you're done so I'll fetch you there."

"Sure." he answered happily. Napatawa ako sa reaction niya kaya namula ang pisngi nito.

"Stop laughing." he glared at me while pouting. 

"Okay okay I won't. Now stop pouting or I'll kiss you." 

He continued pouting while looking at like he is waiting for me to kiss him. Napatawa nalang ako at kinurot pisngi niya. 

"Stop that. Malalate kana sa school kaya bilisan mo na at ihahatid na kita." 

His face brightened. He immediately finish his food and went to the bathroom. I put our dishes in the sink. Mamaya na ako maghugas ng pinggan pag uwi ko.

After I finished preparing, kinuha ko ang susi ng sasakayan ko. It's the latest model of porsche. I got this from my father as my birthday gift  although we don't talk much. 

"Anton, Hintayin na kita sa labas!" I shouted. 

Lumabas na ako at pumasok na sa sasakyan. After five minutes, pumasok na din si Vince sa sasakyan.

"Let's go." 

Pinaharurot ko kaagad ang sasakyan at buti nga hindi masyado traffic ngayon. We arrived in front of his school in fifteen minutes. 

"Enjoy your day." I smiled at him. He kisses me at my lips and he smiled after.

"Be careful on your way to work love." 

I just nodded at him and smiled. Lumabas na siya sa sasakyan kaya naisipan kong tawagan si Patrick. 

He's my bestfriend and he is Anton's cousin. He is currently my boss at work. Patrick was the reason why Anton and I met. When he heard that Anton and I were in a relationship he was surprised and got angry. He didn't talk to me in a week but he eventually gave in and supported us.

[What a miracle! Vince called me first early in the morning. Did you miss me already?] I heard him laugh loudly 

"Shut up. I need to talk with you."

[We are talking.]

"Not through the phone you idiot. Let's meet up. The usual place." 

[Fine.] he said lazily.

I immediately end the call. I started the car and drove to our usual meet up place the La Luna Cafe. I parked my car and went inside. I saw Patrick flirting with the waitress. 

Lumapit ako kung nasaan siya at umupo sa harap niya. He continued flirting with the girl. I cleared my throat.

"Can you give me my usual order please?" I said at the girl and give her a smile. I saw the girl blushed when she left.
