I arrived home and discreetly placed the boxed and wrapped doll at the bottom of my wardrobe, Liz would never think to look there.
I've had the doll hidden away for two days now and strangely I've been struggling to sleep maybe it's the excitement or a draft that makes the wardrobe doors creek either way I've been waking up at 3 o'clock exactly. Exactly.

"Good morning sunshine" my mother greets warmly, she continues "You've worked very hard this week and your effort hasn't gone unnoticed so..." she prolonged "I've bought you a little present too" the oddly shaped object was leaned against my bed wrapped in pink wrapping paper. I tore the wrapping paper off to reveal a decorative gold mirror it resembled something a royal would have, even looking into it made me feel like a Queen. I hugged my mother and she kissed my head sincerely.
A few hours later after I was dressed and had breakfast I hung it up on my wall in it's grandeur.

1 day until Liz's birthday and she's skipping higher than the day before, whistling and singing a tune that I haven't heard before,
I asked curiously
"What song are you singing, Liz?"
Liz replied innocently
"My friend Levi taught it to me"
"Who's Levi?" I enquired, "He's my new friend,we always play together"
Liz had many friends, Levi must be a new kid at school that she invited over at some point, I'm just glad that she's made so many friends.
