This is awkward. It is quite late at night and I decided to accompany Aini to her house before going home myself. 

"Hey.."

Aini was the first to break the silence.

"Yeah?" I simply reply.

"I'm sorry... I made you fight..."

...

That's right. I used to hate fighting a lot.

Doing so will drag everyone around me into my mess. The reason why my parents died...the accident my sister got into... the downfall of my family...all of it happened just because I offended some notorious gang. Though I could defeat their numbers no matter how much, I am still powerless if they hold my family hostage. in the end, I didn't listen to their warning and beat the shit out of every one of them. 

And of course...they hold a deep grudge against me and wanted revenge.

Although they could not defeat me physically, they can torture me psychologically. My father was fired and humiliated. My mother was kidnapped and tortured before she died...though I also suspect that they raped her. Unable to come face to face with reality, my father committed suicide. Somehow, someone spread that fact and it turned into a rumour spreading to my sister's high school and everyone started bullying her because of it. Her accident...also happened because of her classmate's "teasing".

As I thought of that, I clenched my fist so tightly even blood starts to appear. I cower in fear and acted like a weakling in the past because I don't want to deal with them anymore and is afraid of anything happening to Aini too but now...it's different.

EVERYONE SINGLE ONE OF YOU...I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE OR WHAT YOU ARE...I WILL KILL YOU AND EVERYONE RELATED TO YOU. ONE BY ONE, I WILL SEND YOU DOWN PERSONALLY.

Screw the news. I don't mind getting the attention of authorities if I can kill every one of them who killed my parents and injured my sister. I won't even mind being jailed. 

But of course, I am not so dumb as to let myself be caught by the police so easily. I will also hide all forms of evidence and bodies. If I'm unlucky and they manage to outsmart me, then that's that. I don't care what happens to me.

"Karma?"

"This is far enough. I can go on my own now. My house is just right there." says Aini, pointing at the house just opposite the street.

I wake up the next day and was preparing to go to work when I received a message from the store manager. He said that I can go on paid leave for a week!

...Looks like he is quite wise. He doesn't want to attract the attention of the Yakuza clan to the convenience store and since I'm the centre of attention now, he wanted me to stay away.
