Oh Robin.

Chapter 7

I woke up to a bright white light flashing above my head. I was laid down on a rather uncomfortable bed with a lot of bandages on my face and body.

"She's awake" I heard someone beside me say but their voice was unfamiliar. I couldn't turn around to see their face because my body was stiff and I couldn't move.

The men and women edged closer to my face and by their clothing I came to conclusion that they are doctors and that means that I am in a hospital. What am I doing here? Why am I covered in bandages? Why can I barely move?

"Madam, you were in a taxi when it was hit by a drunk driver. Your friend wasn't hurt because the car didn't hit the side that she was in but the driver was hurt. You sat behind him and it made both of you hurt" the doctor explained. It all came back to me now. Getting out of the fashion show, going in to the cab, seeing Big Ben and everything becoming blurry.

"You damaged your ribs and they're fractured now. It's going to take two months to get back to your full self but you're lucky that you weren't hurt that badly" the doctor said and I nodded. I was glad to hear that It won't take that long for recovery and thaf rach is ok. Wait, where's Rach?

"Can I see my friend?" I managed to ask the doctor.
"Of course. She asked to see you earlier but we were stitching the cuts on your arms and cheek" he said and I looked at my arms. I didn't even notice. Way too sedated to notice.

"Hey Bella. How do you feel?" Rachel asked and took a seat next to my bed.

"I actually don't feel anything. You look great" I said pointing out that she's okay.

"Thanks Bella. I texted Robin from your phone and told him about what happened to you and he's on his way here" rachel said and I sighed. I guess he had to find out anyways so why not now.

"Thanks Rach. What did he say?" I asked curiously.

"He kept asking about what happened and stuff but he said he will be here as soon as possible" she explained. A few minutes later the doctor told me that there's a man waiting for me to allow him in and he looked really excited. I'm sure he recognized him.

"I'll leave you guys alone" Rachel said with a smile and left the room.

"Hey love. I was so worried about you. I had to come. What did the doctor say?" Robin asked as he sat next to me.

"Really? That's so sweet of you. He said that I have a fractured rib and he stitched my cuts" I said as I pointed at my left cheek and the cuts on my arms. He leaned towards me and kissed my un-wounded cheek. My cheeks started feeling hot and I gave him a smile. That kiss actually made me feel better.

We spent the rest of the night talking about his team and my job. Talking to him made me feel so much more comforted and relaxed. For a minute I forgot about the accident, my scars and my ribs. I felt wonderful. The doctor came in the room and said that I can leave the hospital the next day and I was really happy about that. I can't stand hospitals and their enviornment. The doctor said that I needed to get some sleep and Robin had to leave.

"Please don't make him go" I pleaded to the doctor.

"I usually don't allow this but I will let him stay, but please try to sleep. It's important" the doctor explained.

"Don't worry doctor, I'll make sure she's relaxed" Robin said with a charming smile.

"Alright then. Thank you" he said and left the room. Robin came back to the chair next to me and held my hand.

"Try to sleep love" he said and ran his fingers through my hair.
"Okay" I said and gave him a light smile. I started to feel myself getting sedated by the medicine again and my eyes started to close. I fell asleep.
