Oh Robin.

Chapter 8

-Rachel's POV -

Bella finally gets out of the hospital today at 3:00 pm. I couldn't wait to see her lively again since I couldn't stand seeing her tied to a bed all day. That's not the Bella that I'm used to.

I decided to arrange her a little "welcome home/get well soon" party to help her feel better. It's the least I can do for my best friend. I invited a couple of our close friends and some of our new co-workers. Everyone accepted the invitation thankfully so it's easier for me to figure things out now.

I told Robin about the idea and he thought that it was a wonderful thing to do. He said that he can't make it because of training but he said that he will make it up for her. Let's hope it's a date to one of his football games cause that's an advantage for me too. I went to the market earlier and got a few of her favorite foods. Preferably junk food. she'd die for those.

Since she hasn't been to work for a week now, I've been handling our line by myself. I've a made a few new designs but it's not the same without Bella. She has a creative mind that keeps us going.

It's two o'clock and people started to show up. I also invited our close friends from when we lived in Paris, Jess and suhaymah. We always hung out, worked together and we had our awesome group of four. It was hard to move here and leaving them so seeing them will make her feel way better.

"Jess! Suha! Oh my gosh I missed you guys so so much!" I engulfed my friends in hugs as they walked in through the door.
"I missed you too so much! Paris is not the same without you and Bella" Jess said as we sat on the couch.
"Yeah we wish you're still here" suha said with a sad expression.
"Oh girls, I feel the same but I do love my life here and our job is just terrific" I said ethusiastically. Our conversation was interrupted by knocking on the door. It's Bella.

"Guys hold up the signs and yell get well soon when she walks in!" I instructed everyone as I went to open the door. I opened the door to see a pale looking Bella holding a bouquet of flowers with Robin behind her.
Everyone screamed out "get well soon" and held up the banners that I bought from the shop earlier today. I gave them a thumbs up to show them that they did a good job and that they could carry on.

"Did you do this for me?" Bella asked while holding back tears.
"Yes" I said with a giddy smile.
"Oh my gosh you're the best. I love you so much. Thank you, you have no idea how happy I am right now" she rambled and gave me a tight hug.
"Wait, don't you still have your bandages on?" I said while noticing that I might be crushing her ribs.
"Yes that's why I'm holding back tears" she said and I immediately let go and she laughed her pain off.

"I have another surprise for you" I said and guided her into the the kitchen. Her face immediately lit up as she saw two of her closest friends in front of her.

"OH MY GOSH!" She said and engulfed them in tight hugs.
"Oh ouch, sorry" Bella said and pulled away from them.

"I missed you guys so much! What are you doing here? Please tell me that you're staying longer!"
"We missed you so much too! Well we are taking a break from work for a little while and we decided to come see how you're doing. We're here for a week.

"Really?! That's so sweet of you guys" Bella said excitedly.

"Bella where are your bags?" I asked.
"Oh I think Robin brought them in" Bella said and headed back to the living room.

- Bella's POV -

I must say, I wasn't expecting for rachel to do all of this for me. She arranged the entire house with all of my favorite foods and beautiful decorations. She also brought me a priceless gift, my best friends.

I headed back to living room to see if Robin left yet but he was still sitting on the couch being huddled by my co-workers.

"Guys can you get away from him a little please, I need him for a minute" I said and pulled him away from them.
"Why didn't you tell us that you're dating a footballer Bella?" Dan, one of my coworkers said.
"Cause it's none of your business" I said it an obvious tone.

"Thank you for getting me out from there but they seem nice" he said with his beautiful smile.
I chuckled and said "no problem, thought that you needed it. Anyways, you have to go back to Manchester right? It's going to take you a while to get back and you need to sleep since you have training tomorrow and you've spent the past three days and nights by my side"
"Unfortunately I do but I don't want to leave you" he said sounding concerned.
"Don't worry about me. I got them here" I said and pointed at my friends who were drinking tea.
"Plus, I've bothered you enough. I can't thank you enough. It's the sweetest thing anyone has done for me" I admitted.
"You didn't bother me and it was my pleasure. I'm happy to do it for you" he said and gave me a light kiss on the cheek. My stomach erupted with a thousand butterflies and Even I forgot the pain of my ribs for a few seconds.

"I'll come to your game against Liverpool this Saturday" I announced to him. The doctor told me to stay in bed as much as possible but I need to make it up for him. He's done enough for me. This is the least that I can do.

"You don't have to love. You're still In bandages and -"
"I want to come and you won't stop me. My friends will come and trust me, they will take care of me" I cut him off.

"Okay then" he smirked and give me a kiss on the cheek on more time as he headed out of the door.
"See you Saturday"
"See you then" he said and I watched him leave. I closed the door and let out a long sigh. My coworkers started to leave since they have to get back to work. They left gifts and cards for me, that's very nice of them especially since we haven't worked together for that long. I waved goodbye to them and watched their presence leave.

My friends decided to spent the rest of the night instead of going back to their hotel at my apartment. Rachel made popcorn and brought soda and nachos so we can have a "friends TV show" marathon on Netflix. We spent the rest of the night watching endless episodes of friends and talked about our lives. These moments I will cherish forever. I'm so lucky to still be here and surrounded by my friends.
