Chapter 11

• Robin's POV •

I hurried out of practice ready to drive back to London to see my Bella. Tomorrow is her birthday and I thought that I should spend time with her for the next two days. I was stopped by a very exhausted looking wayne Rooney before I can head out.

"Hey Robin"
"Hey wayne what's up?"
"I just wanted to tell you that I'm having a team party at my house on Wednesday"
"That's a great idea for the team! I'll Defenitely come" I said and tried to head back out again but he held to my arm.

"Why are you in a rush?" Wayne said, smirking. He always seems to guess about what's going on with me. I guess that's why we're best friends.
"I'm going to London to meet someone"
"Someone has a lady!" David said as he came out the of the lockeroom with Juan.
"It's not a big deal guys" I said trying to calm them down.
"Who is she? Why didn't you tell us Robin?" Juan questioned.
"Her name is Bella Hoffman and she's the most beautiful women I've ever seen" I said and everyone cooed which made me very embarrassed.

"We want to see her Robin! Bring her to the team party on Wednesday!" Wayne suggested.
"Alright I'll bring her but you guys better not embarrass me" I said jokingly.
"Don't worry Robin. We'll make her regret ever meeting you" dave said sarcastically and I chuckled.
"Okay I better get going. See you guys at the party!" I said and waved everyone off.

• Bella's POV •

Today was my day off and I'm planning to spend it on the couch, wrapped in blanket and watching Netflix. I rarely have days off so when I do, I get lazy. I really wanted to spend the day with Robin but he had practice today. That's what happens when you date a footballer, but he's my footballer.

I heard three knocks on the door and I lifted myself off of the couch with my Turquoise pajamas. I'm sure that it was rachel dropping off to join me but I thought that she was out with one of our co workers. At least she's getting a romantic interest now and it makes me happy to see that.

I looked through the peephole to see that it was Robin out there. I squealed with excitement because I thought that he was at practice and he can't make it. I looked at myself and wow I look like shit. I had pajamas on and food all over my mouth. He knocked again and that's when I thought that I should just suck it up and show him my true colors. Oh god.

I opened the door and saw Robin wearing sweatpants and he had a boquet of flowers in his hand with some chocolates. Even when he was wearing sweats he looked absolutely stunning.

"Happy early birthday babe" he said and connected his lips to mine.
"Thanks baby" I said kissing him back and took the flowers in my hand. He pulled away and brushed his fingers through my hair.

"I know I look crappy but bear with me" I said chuckling.
"You look gorgeous as always love" he said and gave me another kiss.
We threw ourselves on the couch and I took his hand.
"I thought you had practice today and couldn't come"
"It ended early and do you think that I would leave my baby alone on her birthday" he said and put a huge grin on my face.
"Aw you're too sweet. Thank you. I'm so glad that you came so I wouldn't be watching Netflix alone!" I said and we turned our attention towards the TV.

"What are we watching?" He said and wrapped the blanket around himself as he sat closer to me.
"Well, I hope you enjoy prison break"
"Never watched it but I will now" he said and wrapped his big arms around my shoulders. He handed me the chocolates that he brought me and they were my favorite kind, Lindt strawberry shortcakes.

I started eating and I couldn't even concentrate on the show in front of me. Robin made me feel so happy and I realized how lucky I am to have him.

I looked into his eyes and it looked like he had something on his mind.

"Hey Bella can I ask you something?"

~ hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed reading this chapter cause I really enjoyed writing it! I decided to update early since I didn't have much homework to do! This Friday we play Cambridge united for the FA cup and I hope this will be an easy win(if not a 3-5-2 formation ofc). Also get well soon Robin! I hope he comes back this week!
