I spent most of the day ignoring everyone as much as possible, hiding away in my room. I start school tomorrow which I am not looking forward to in the slightest, I'm not nervous or anything I just hate school.
Jeniffer came to get me for breakfast this morning but I told her I wasn't hungry. I really wasn't in the mood to see anybody so I was hoping they would just forget about me and leave me alone however I knew that wouldn't happen
I was sat on my bed against the headboard reading my book when Lucas barged in and threw himself on my bed.
Thanks for knocking.
"Can I help you?" I asked looking at him with confusion.
"Nope just came to see what you were doing" he said looking up at me from where he was laying on his back with his hands behind his head.
I lifted my book up and continued to read hoping that he would get the hint and leave.
He rolled over on his stomach resting his chin on his hands. I looked at him with a raised brow wondering what he wants.
"Wanna do something?"
I shook my head and continued reading but then he snatched the book from me. I stared at my hands for a second before looking at him.
He was on his back again reading my book.
This kid is annoying.
He put it on my bedside table before sitting up and looked at me "come on you must be bored being up here, you haven't left this room all day" he said.
"I'm fine" I mumbled grabbing my phone however before I even got the chance to turn it on he snatched it as well.
"You also haven't eaten anything yet and it's 3pm" he said.
"Not hungry" I said.
"How can you not be hungry" he asked.
I shrugged and tried grabbing my phone from him but he moved it so I couldn't reach it.
I huffed and sat back.
"How about we go get McDonnalds or something I can ask Noah to drive us."
"I said I'm not hungry" I was getting slightly irritated.
He stared at me for a moment before getting up and leaving.
Thank god.
I grabbed my book and continued reading from where a left off but was interrupted again by Lucas walking back and sitting next to me placing a plate with a ham sandwich on it on my lap and putting a glass of orange juice on my bedside table.
I looked at him with a questioning look.
"I can't have my new sister going hungry" he grinned.
"I'm not your sister" I said bluntly.
"Well not my biological sister but that doesn't matter to me" he said.
"Now eat" he grabbed my sandwich and held it to my mouth.
I rolled my eyes and grabbed it taking a bite knowing he wasn't gonna leave until I did.
Why is he doing this? He doesn't care about me, none of them do they only took me in for the paycheck just like all my other foster families.
Lucas was led back scrolling through his phone whilst I tried forcing this stupid sandwich down my throat.
After I finished almost a half I put the plate on my bed and picked my book up.
