Elliot's pov:

It's been hours since Lexi left and it's now twelve o'clock and I'm getting really worried.

Jordan and Noah have driven around to try and look for her but found nothing.

Mom and Dad were gonna be home soon and they're gonna be so worried when they find out she's been gone so long.

I wasn't trying to upset her I just wanted to make sure she's okay, which I know she's not. She doesn't tell us anything and hardly talks not to mention her sleeping and eating habits, and now those bruises.

Clumsy or not they couldn't have been done by simply falling over.

Noah is hella clumsy and even he doesn't get very many bruises.

There were also some scars too. And if it was just clumsiness then why would she try to hide her other arm?

"It's been way to long. Where could she have gone?" Jordan said.

We were all currently sat in the living room waiting for her to come back.

"I don't know. Elliott what actually happened?" Noah asked.

"Yeah come on you gotta tell us" Jordan said as they all looked towards me.

I hadn't told them what happened yet. I wasn't sure if I should, but I guess I have no choice.

I sighed before saying "well when we were at the doctors she had to take a blood test and when she rolled her sleeve up there were a load of bruises and scars, there was even a hand print from where someone had obviously grabbed her. And when the doctor asked her about it she just said she was clumsy which is obviously bullshit, and she refused to take her blazer off. So when we got back I tried talking to her about it but she got all defensive and then left."

"What the hell" Jordan said.

"What do you think happened to her?" Lucas asked.

"No idea" I said.

Suddenly my phone buzzed and I looked to see I had a text from mom.

"Mom and dad are staying out of town tonight as mom has a last minute meeting in the morning. They'll be back by dinner" I told my brothers.

"Should we tell them Lexi's missing?" Noah asked.

"No I say we wait another hour and if she isn't back we'll call them and get the boys to help us look for her" I said and they all nodded in agreement.

We all waited nervously, glancing at our phones every now and then to look at the time or to see if she had replied to any of our texts.

"Ughh I'm worried, what if something happened?" Lucas said as he put his phone down after trying to call her again.

"I know I'm worried too, it's dark and I know she's tough and all but anything could happen" Noah said with his chin resting on his fists as his elbows were on his bouncing knees.

"I know, I know" I groaned becoming more scared after each passing minute.

It had now been forty minutes and still nothing.

Before anyone could say anything else we heard the front door open and close.

"Lexi?" Noah called as he stood up and we all made our way to the front of the house.

I felt a huge wave of relief when I saw her there, however she wasn't facing us.

She took her shoes off and tried to walk past us but Noah stopped her by grabbing her arm. Something was off, she kept her head down and her hood was up.
