My Kind Of Party

It takes another hour before we find it. We find the one. It's fourteen minutes from campus, which is perfect. It is gorgeous, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, one bedroom (all I need), and air conditioning. It's absolutely perfect. I take one walk around, and I already can see the layout of everything. My eyes light up as I walk around, a smile spreading across my face. Danny gives me a look, and I can tell he approves of my choice. I have a quick chat with the landlord, telling her when I'm going to move in, and I sign a few papers.

We have a quick dinner at Lemonade before Danny drives me back to the sorority house. He kisses the top of my head as a goodbye before driving off. A sense of relief fills me as I walk through the front door. I'm only going to have to stay here a few more days before moving out. And then I'll be gone. Much to everyone's surprise but joyousness.

It'll be like I wasn't even here in the first place. Just as I shouldn't have been. Without giving the other girls a second glance, I make my way up to my room, and I start to pack up my belongings. I already had boxes made and ready to go. I'm extremely excited to be free of this prison, at least it's a prison to me.

Two Days Later:

"Brixton! If you break your back carrying that by yourself-"

"You'll chop off my balls?"

"Yes. Be careful, please."

"I'm good, kitten. Don't worry that pretty little head too much."

I huff, still concerned about Brixton's well being. If I were him, I would take all the help I could get, but he seems to want to do everything himself. The only thing that he didn't carry in by himself was the couch and maybe my bed, though I didn't see that being put into the apartment.

I recruited Dexter, Nick, Brixton, Grady, and Danny to all come and help me move into my new apartment. Dexter and Nick carried in all the clothes and are setting up my closet and bedroom. Grady is helping me set up the kitchen. Brixton is carrying everything inside because he wouldn't let anyone else help him, and Danny is getting the living room situated.

I know it's crazy for me to trust five men to be able to set up my apartment, since I'm picky as fuck, but so far they are doing a good job. I was only yelled at once, by Danny, because of me 'annoying ass bossy mode'. I can take that. It's my apartment, and I think I can be a little bossy when setting it up because this is where I'm going to be living.

I just don't think Danny appreciates my attitude which is me bouncing around the house in excitement. I'm not going to be able to move in for a few more days because I still have some other stuff to move in before I can live here, but besides that, everything is good to go. No more mean sorority girls to deal with, parties to hear, and assholes to punch (at least not in their front yard).

"Hey, Grady. It's one. You said you had to go."

"Oh, shit. Thanks, Reign."

He practically bolts out the door, no goodbye. I didn't even get to say thank you. Whenever I see him next I'll thank him. I finish my final touches on the kitchen before going around the rest of the apartment, trying not to cry. I've wanted my own place for so long and here it is, with all my favorite people standing here.

If only grandpop was here. When I called him this morning, he was incredibly proud of me, and I would love it if he could be here to experience this with me. He means so much to me, but even without him here, I'm so grateful for these boys.

"Thank you guys so much. I cannot express to you how much this means to me."

"Anytime, Rei."

"I don't think I'll be moving for a while, but if I do, I know exactly who to call."
