"Mr. Summers and Ms. Henderson, what are you two doing?"

We both look up from getting our stuff ready for the lecture. We look around the room to see that people are staring at the two of us. Brixton clears his throat.

"Well, uh...we, uh..."

"Mr. Jackson. There are no other places to sit, and Brixton being the wonderful gentleman he is, didn't want me sitting on the floor. I also didn't want to sit on a desk because that could be a threat to others. I'm also in a dress."

"And you chose his lap?"

"I think that's a stretch, but we didn't want to argue about who's going to sit on the floor. We figured this was the next best thing."

"You have a good point."

"I know."

Mr. Jackson snorts, turning his attention away from the two of us and starting the lecture. I smack Brixton in the bicep, telling him he's an idiot for choking up, and get back to my notes. Even with Brixton's scent, breath of my neck, and protective arm around my waist, I pay attention. Better attention than usual actually. I can feel Brixton's lips brush my arm every once and awhile, but whether that's on purpose or not, I don't know. When he concentrates, his lips part slightly and his eyebrows scrunch. He looks adorably handsome. I don't know if that makes sense, but he's so cute.

"I want to make a quick announcement. Midterms are not going to be required for this semester. Last semester I sent out a riddle to kids in last semester's classes. If two people solved it, we wouldn't have a midterm this semester. So thank, Reign Henderson and Jenny Rivers for their contribution to the bettering of this class."

I blink, completely taken aback that solving that riddle no midterm thing was actually real. I turn to look at Brixton, a smile plastered on his face. I nod my head, shrugging my shoulders. Brixton presses a light kiss to my neck.

"Thank you, kitten."

"No problem, I guess? Jenny too, huh?"

"Yeah, but she's just another person. You however, deserve a reward for being so generous and contributing to the bettering of this class."

I giggle slightly, ducking my head as the class is dismissed and people thank me as they walk by. I chew on my bottom lip. I blush when I feel Brixton press a kiss to my shoulder. He takes my hips in his hands and pushes the chair back away from the table. He lifts me up off his lap, setting my feet down gently on the floor. I start packing up my things, and I feel Brixton's presence close to me.

I look around to see that we are the only two left in the lecture hall. I shift my body to move away from Brixton, but he takes my hand gently. He spins me around, for me to find that he's incredibly close. Brixton leans forward, holding the sides of my face delicately. Just as our lips are about to touch, Nick walks into the lecture hall.

"Hey Rei. I heard that you wanted to go get ice cream. Want to go with me?"

"Yes! Perfect. Let me pack up my things real quick."

"I'll be out by my car."

He walks out of the hall, leaving Brixton and I.

"We will continue this later, kitten."

"We will?"

"Most certainly. I'll see you later."

He presses a kiss to my cheek, exiting the hall. I gather my things and make my way to Nick's car.

"Hey, Nick. How are you?"

"I'm good. But what about you? You and Brixton are full of passion already."
