MARISSA was abruptly woken up by the sound of her phone ringing.
"Hotchner," she groaned.
"Ah yes, Little Hotchner. We have a case please get here as soon as possible," Garcia beamed through the phone.
"Thanks, Garica," she said and hung up the phone.
Almost immediately, she hopped out of bed to get dressed. Marissa wore a white mock turtleneck, a black blazer, and black dress pants, and of course, her black 4.5-inch stiletto heels.
She quickly did her hair and makeup, rushing out the door with her go-bag. Once she got to the BAU doors, she dropped her go-bag at her desk.
"I'm so sorry, I rushed as fast as I could," Marissa apologized as she sat down at the round table.
"Like I always say, everyone is allowed to be late once," Hotch's voice filled the room.
"Yes, sir," She said to him.
"Ok, let's start," Hotch said.
"Kelly Landis went missing three days ago. Two days ago, the Georgetown 'monitor' received this. So whoever took this, took Kelly," Garcia said showing us a photograph that looked like it had been taken by a professional.
"And wanted the world to know it," Hotch said.
"Where was she found?" Rossi asked Garcia.
"Uh, she was found in Georgetown, in an alley, late last night," She answered his question.
"I sent Morgan and Prentiss," Hotch said, referring to the crime scene.
"Only one victim?" Marissa was confused.
"It's what he did to her that concerns me," Hotch says.
"Morgan sent these, also late last night," Garcia said, handing Reid and Marissa photos of the body.
"He and Prentiss are waiting in the district," Hotch says.
"The body seems posed. Left-arm raised... oh... that's a first, I see your concern," Reid says.
"What?" Garcia asked.
"A photo wasn't all he took," Rossi said.
"Her lips have been removed," Marissa said.
"Oh my god," Garcia was disgusted. "Maybe a trophy," Rossi suggested.
"Maybe he ate them?" Reid also suggested.
"Ok, now I have that memory burned in my mind for the rest of my life," Garcia sassed him.
"You asked," Reid said, earning a slight chuckle from Marissa.
