Season 7 Episode 4 "Painless."
AARON'S alarm went off earlier than usual. He had a meeting with Jack's teacher, Micaela Moore. She was Jack's teacher last year, and apparently, she moved up to second grade, luckily becoming Jack's teacher again. Micaela was good friends with Marissa. They had met in college and had been friends ever since.
He got dressed in his normal, classy suit. He made Jack breakfast, the usual waffle, eggs, and bacon. Jessica had shortly after arrived, which meant it was time for him to go.
"Here are Jack's standardized test scores. Jack tells me you read together every night you're home," Micaela smiled. "We just finished Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night," he smiled. "I wish you could work with all of my kids," she laughs. "So he's reading at a fourth-grade level," Hotch says. "Mm-hmm. As you can see, his scores are high across the board. But he seems to be holding back in the classroom." "Why do you think that is?" "Has he ever mentioned a classmate named Paul?" "Paul Cain?" "Mm-hmm." "Yes, he's been over. He's a friend of Jack's." "Well, Paul is being mean to Jack for some reason." "How long has that been going on?"
"A few weeks. Jack's just his latest target. We've moved Jack away from Paul, and we're documenting everything, of course." "Well, Jack says that things are going very well at school, so the steps you're taking must be working." "Thank you." "Let me know if anything changes." "Absolutely." "Can I keep this?" "Sure." "Thank you so much," they then stand up and shake hands.
"Oh, Micaela. Have you heard from my sister at all?" he asks. "Yeah, she said N- Atlanta is amazing as always," she says. "Thanks," he walks out.

SPENCER got a head start on the day, also waking up earlier than usual. He got dressed, packed his go-bag, and got in his car. Before work, he drove to a nearby jewelry store, buying a necklace, and running it to someone with a note inside the box.
Once he got to work they went over the case that involved a high school and bombs. Never a good combination.
-MARISSA woke up, dreading today. She started her first round of aggressive chemo today. She had already been deprived of sleep because of being anxious. Sean had to work, so she had to do it alone. Which she appreciated.
She was scared. She never admitted it to anyone, emotions weren't really a Hotchner thing. So, she got dressed. Not wearing the clothes she usually would, she put on a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt.
Remembering how cold it was in the hospitals she had to bring a blanket. Even though they provided them, she brought the one she had stolen from Aaron. It made her feel like it would all be okay.
She brought along a coffee, her laptop and charger, a lot of books, and her suitcase. She needed things to distract her. When she was younger, she would always read. Normally, she could probably read two big chapter books in the span of a day in a half.
