"UNNECESSARY. There's too much blood and gore and eew," Penelope says, disgusted. "Garcia, it's a slasher film. How do you do a slasher film without violence?" Spencer asks her, as I lightly laugh. "You imply it," she quickly says. "Baby, the movie is called 'Slice 6.' What were you expecting?" Derek asks her. "A refreshing beverage with a twist of comedy. I'm gonna have nightmares for a week," she pouts. "With everything that we do and see on a daily basis, that got to you?" I laugh. "Listen, newb, you may be all Sigourney weaver ass-kicking tough, which is awesome, but the mystical mavens of innocence like myself jump at things that go bump in the night," she retorts.

"Why are you worried? I'm sure that Morgan will protect you. As long as he's not jumping out of his chair like a prepubescent schoolgirl," Spencer jokes and I giggle. "The only reason I jumped is 'cause you guys woke me up," Derek says. "How could you sleep during that?" Penelope asks him. "Easy. You drag me out after a twelve-hour workday, for what? You telling me that girl didn't know that the unsub was waiting for her upstairs? Come on, now," Derek retorts. "Villain," Spencer corrects him. "What?" Morgan asks.

"In movies, unsubs are called villains," Spencer tells him. "My bad," Derek replies. "You want to know why horror movies are so successful?" Spencer asks. "Why is that, Genius?" Derek answers. "They prey on our instinctual need to survive. In tribal days, a woman's scream would signal danger and the men would return from hunting to protect their pack. That's why it's always the women and not the men who fall victim to the bogeyman," Spencer spits out his facts.

"Count on you, Reid, to break a movie down to science," I giggle. "My favorite thing about horror movies is the suspense factor," Penelope says. "Ah, the ticking clock," Spencer comments. "The helpless victim walks through the dark, shadows reaching out to get her," Garcia starts. "A sudden noise draws her attention. Is someone there, or is it just in her head?" Reid continues. "Still, it's totally unrealistic. No one should be walking through a dark alley by themselves at night," Penelope says. "Ahem. Hello," Derek says.

"Ah. No one should be walking through a dark alley without a Derek Morgan by their side," Penelope flirts. "But the best part of a horror movie, you never know when the end is gonna come," Spencer says.

Spencer and I had split up from the other two so we could go to our apartment building. We both said goodnight and the next morning we got called in.

Reid and I carpooled together and we were still talking about the movie we saw. "What we didn't see coming was the Slicer's brother was in the closet," Spencer said, while we walked with Dave. "Frightening," he said, sarcastically. "His betrayal consumed him and he sent his brother to his own private hell," Spencer says.

We reached the glass doors of the BAU and we saw something even worse. "Speaking of horror..." Rossi starts. "What's Strauss doing here?" Reid asked. "Whatever it is, I cast my vote on 'not good'," Penelope says, and we all walk to our desks, dropping off our go bags. We walk to the round table so we could go over the case.
