Things had changed now. Abby and her friends had become stars in the school. Kind of.
I didn't really mind. I just continued with my life. I couldn't talk to Mr. Holt much because he was busy with an Art contest that he was judging. That was a bummer. The Elite group had kind of disbanded a bit as well as the KINGS group because Kendall spent a lot of his time with Abby his girlfriend.

As for me i tried to mind my business

"oh come on! It's not weird at all" I declared.
Joey, Nick and Carter all looked at me as if I was mad. " seriously Lacey, I cannot believe you just said that" Nick said with a mock serious face. Joey and Carter nodded their heads in agreement. " cannot believe it" Carter parroted with a fry hanging from his mouth. It was their loss then. Jelly and ice cream was the best.
I burst out laughing,  I winced a bit as I remembered the bruises I got from Erin yesterday. No one noticed anything. Thank goodness, I hoped the light makeup I had was still intact.

It was past closing time and I had just finished my tutoring for the day at SWEET AND SPICY MAYHEM. I had a test tomorrow and if I passed it, that would be the third test I had passed. I was so grateful to Nick the sun man.

Nick and Carter got up and went to the soda machine and Joey cleared his throat. " Lacey.... You know the dance is coming and.... This is so hard for me to do" he chuckled nervously "but would you go to the dance with me?"

"NO WAY!"
Both our heads shot up to the door to see who just walked in. It was Abby, Mia and Stephanie. I groaned inwardly as Abby's shrill voice started to invade my surroundings.
" Joey, I can't believe you would allow this girl to use you like this? Get away from her!I've heard a lot of bad things about her"
She pulled him aggressively out of the booth.
Carter and Nick were frozen near the soda machine as Mrs. Keene came out slowly from her office.

Abby turned to me " Why are you and your friends trying to ruin everything in my life. Emery didn't want Kendall to be my boyfriend and now you're trying to get to me through my cousin. This is messed up!"

Is this girl seriously for real?!

I got up. I wasn't going to stay here for this.
She mirrored my steps" you can't say anything because I'm right. You know I am. "
I tried to move around her but it wasn't working.

My car keys were next to a knife and so that's why she probably freaked out when I reached there. I don't blame the boys for not being bale to handle her, I was freaked out myself.
She took a glass and threw the liquid into my face.
I didn't know what it was but it burnt so so much.

That was it.
Everyone was silent. Then some gasps went around. The large purplish bruise on my face had started to show and I was furious and upset. All at once.

"Listen to me and listen well .
I don't care about you and I don't want to have anything to do with you or your oddly shaped nose. You are so selfish. You think everything's about you!"
I spat out.
"I don't know what kind of Disney movies you watch, but if this was a movie. You'd be the bad guy."

I grabbed my Keys and left
