"Listen!"
I tried to use telepathy to calm Emery down but nothing was working.
" listen you below average being. I wouldn't waste my time on you but you poked your weird nose in places where they don't belong"
I noticed then that the girl touched her nose uncomfortably.
"mind your business, frizz, else this school will be a living hell for you"Before we turned though, two girls appeared by her side, one in overalls and braids and a dark one with large glasses that looked like they were going to slip off her nose....
Aaaah... The best friends.
"You leave Abby alone!" the dark one yelled. Um, where were they when "Abby" was verbally assaulting us?I rolled my eyes and grabbed Emery "Em, let's go"
This wasn't rehearsed but we turned simultaneously, with drama queen delivering a final hair flip over her shoulder ( even though I clearly had the longer hair which would have made it more awesome but anyway...).
We walked on and the whispers followed.X
I had literature first, bestie dearest was not in this class. She said literature made her want to fall in a tank of acid. On purpose.
Acidic suicide. Literature made her feel like committing acidic suicide.I sat in the middle, not too much in front to seem eager and not too much at the back to seem.... not eager at all. Ha.
We had written a test a few days before and it was given back to us.
My head started buzzing.
When was the last time I ate something?
My paper came back to me.STUDENT: LACEY CASWELL
SUBJECT : LITERATURE
GRADE :(14%) FI failed?
Oh gosh
I failed!" will miss Caswell please step into the principal's office"
I chuckled bitterly to myself, well this can't be good.
The principal had always been on my case ever since that huge nosedive my grades did.Principal Blackawl, popularly known as "the black hole" was a short round man, who always wore black shirts and large glasses.
The name was very fitting as he was also sorely annoying.I super rolled my eyes and got out of class. Whispers again. Can these people mind their businesses at all?
I was almost on my way to the office when my eyes fell on....red plaid?
Oh, it was Joey Ridge. A loner probably?
He was usually in plaid so that made him easy to identify ....
Um.. Not that I was trying to identify him or anything
I shook my head and walked to my doom.
