Hmm. School.
Unfortunately there was no asteroid that destroyed school , so yeah, I still had school to go to.The dance was tomorrow night and I still hadn't heard from Emery. I just wanted to know if she was alright. I know she said what she did because she was very hurt and I wouldn't hold it against her.
Things had calmed down a bit. Nick's leg had healed ages ago and everyone thought Joey and I were dating.
He and I were on our way to the library now to meet Nick and Tess when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned, it was Abby. What did she want now?
" Before you say anything Joey, relax please. I want to apologize to Lacey., for everything I've said and done. It's unforgivable. I just made up my mind that I had to take you guys down. It's all in the books and movies isn't it?. I was blind. Sorry again"
She stretched out her hand and I looked at her frizzy hair, her freckles, her band t shirt and her scuffed sneakers." it's okay" I said. I shook her hand. " and forget what I said about your nose. It's unique like that"

The stars were so beautiful. It looked like it would be a magical night. I saw Joey standing there with flowers. He grinned when he saw me "the most beautiful date in the world" then he bowed low.
The flowers were plaid and so was his bow tie. I couldn't help but laugh. " what is it with you and plaid things" he smiled "it's special, just like you" then a wink.
"well well Joey, when did you get so flirty?"
" And you Lacey, when did you get so loud?"
He pulled me by my arm "let's go in"
When I reached where he was, he held my hand and we walked in.It was like a usual dance. Punch in bowls and students looking all glammed up and dancing in ways that didn't go according to the music. It was fun. I fast danced, I slow danced, I robot danced.
It was actually fun.
Well,
