I was nervous, but at the same time so very excited. This was the day I was finally going to meet him in moths, even years. Just imagining hugging him again and knowing that it would happen in minutes made me smile wider than ever before. I was happier than ever to get the opportunity to get to meet and even celebrate my best friends birthday together with him for the first time in ages. It was going to be the best 'best friend reunion' EVER.

I collected my luggage at the 4th of the 7 carousels in the airport and I was practically running out of the building, more excited than ever. I couldn't stop smiling. But stopped running since I got tired.

'Wow I really have the worst stamina ever' I thought as I caught my breath. I decided to walk my way to the main entrance where he had said he was located a couple of minutes before.

After a minute or two, I had fully made it through the customs and the excitement had grown bigger and bigger inside of me. It felt like I was going to loose control of myself any second. I walked out of the main entrance and the first thing that came into my mind was to search for a pretty tall guy with brown hair, probably wearing a hoodie or a sweatshirt of some kind, even though it was summer. As I glanced around at the different people, a familiar looking guy caught my eye. Karl.
He looked back at me and a smile immediately grew on his lips. We were only meters apart when we started running towards each other with open arms, well, in my case, an open arm, I had to carry my luggage too. Before I could cooperate anything I was in his arms, and he was in mine. I buried my head into his chest as I hugged him tighter than ever, and he rested his chin on top of my head. After an amount of seconds we let go of the hug. I could feel myself tearing up, I felt overwhelmed.

"Hi Karl! I'm so glad I finally got to see you it's been so long!" I say as my jaw started hurting by all the smiling. His adorable smile made an even bigger appearance on his face before he started speaking.

"I can't believe this! It's been too long since we saw each other last." He says. I wipe away a tear from my cheek as I giggled. His expression turned into a concerned one immediately.-

"Why are you crying? Are you okay?" He asks me with the purest voice ever. I giggle as I smile even wider at his actions.

"I've just missed you a lot." I admit as another tear rolled down my cheek. I sobbed. "I'm sorry, I'm such a baby."

"I know you are. Come here." He said as he pulled me into another one of his amazing hugs. "I've missed you too. So much... so very much." His warm embrace and his strong arms all around me along with the smell of his cologne calmed me down in a way nothing else did. When I had coped we pulled away. "You ready to head to my crib?" He asked me.

"Obviously! I want to see what you came up with decorating it." I say excitedly as we started heading towards his car.

"Well don't have too high hopes." He chuckled.

"I don't. Trust me, I know you're decorating skills are low." I say.

"What are you talking about? My decorating skills are out of this world!"

"Oh you want to talk about your room back at your parents house that you got to decorate by yourself?" I ask him with an humiliating touch to my voice.

"That, we don't talk about." He says.

"So you're admitting you suck at decorating?" I question him.

"Okay, I can admit that my decorating skills were another type of wack back then, but now I've stepped up my game." He defends himself.

"I believe it when I see it." I say as he unlocked his car. I looked up to see a white Mercedes. I look up at him and I nod. "Mercedes. Not say no to that." I say which made him laugh.
