𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗹'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩

When all of the guests had arrived we decided to sit down and play some games while eating and drinking. Most of us all got drunk, even Ethan who NEVER gets drunk ever.

We were all pretty drowsy but we all had a good time, which was the whole point. The party went by quickly and when the clock turned 2am everyone had already headed home.

"God I'm so tired." Grace says with a hand on her forehead as we just let the last people out the door. "You wanna go sleep upstairs?" I ask her. She nods as an response and we were soon up stairs. I let Grace go change into something in the guest room while I also changed quickly into something more comfortable to sleep in.

As I just after I put on my t-shirt I see Grace in the doorway into my room. She looked paler than usual, almost looking sick.

"Are you okay?" I ask with a soft voice as I pull her into a hug, showing her my comfort. She hugs me back as I lay my chin on the top of her head. "Yea, I'm fine." She says. She flashed me a little smile as we pull away.

"You sure?" I ask her. She shrugs and I could feel my heart sink. "I'm just a baby, it's nothing." She tried to reassure me, but I didn't buy it. "No you're not. You have your own feelings, just like everyone else. Now, tell me what's going on."

We both sit down on the edge of the bed as I hear her sigh. She shrugs once again.

"I feel kinda ill I guess." She says dozing off a bit. I got concerned, she acted kinda off, like she wasn't fully conscious in the presence. "You guess?" I ask her. She was staring into the wall, not answering my question.

"Grace?" I ask, starting to get worried about her. She looks my way, but not at me, she looked at the wall behind me. I wave with my hand in front of her to try and which catches her eyes.

"You wanna go to sleep?" She still doesn't answer. I started to get really worried at this point, but I decided to carry her to her side of the bed. I put her to sleep still getting no answer to the questions I was asking her.

I decided to let her fall asleep on her own as I made my way downstairs to call Chris for some advice since I had no idea what to do in these types of situations. I really just wanted the best for Grace.

"Hey Karl, why are you calling?" Chris asks me as he answers the phone. "It's Grace. I can't get any contact with her." I say.

"What do you mean you can't get any contact with her?" Chris asks. I started panicking a bit. "I- she doesn't answer any of my questions and she keeps staring off into nothingness."

"Okay no need to panic. This happens to Katie all the time when she has had too much to drink, she kinda zoned off." Chris says calmly on the other line.

"Okay, but what am I supposed to do? I just put her to bed to get some sleep." I say as I tried to stay calm.

"Yeah that's what you're supposed to do. Just let her sleep and she'll be fine in the morning."

"Oh okay. Um- thank you."

"There's no need to be worried. She'll be fine." I started blushing since he really caught me off guard.

"I-I'm not!" I defend myself maybe a bit too loudly. I could hear Grace breathing in and out her nose building up soft snores.

"Yeah sure. See you tomorrow simp." He chuckles.

"I am not a-" I get cut off by the sound of Chris hanging up the phone.

I'm not a fucking simp. I thought as I looked over at Grace who was still sleeping peacefully in the bed. I smile at the sight, and I soon started blushing catching myself in the act.

Maybe I was simping after all lol.
