Alice smiles happily as both her mother and the queen laughs on some silly inside joke.. the servers have already served their entre, and they are chitchatting while taking sips of the super expensive dark red wine..in this "they", ...but one is conspicuously, repeatedly getting blanked out,
one who left Alice suddenly alone after his afternoon classes without any explanation what so ever, and even came superlate for his own family dinner, where even Alice's parents were also cordially invited.. totally against protocol and which earned the unapologetic prince Singto,stink eye from both his parents..
It's kind of customary for their family to meet unofficially, once a month ,as just to be in-laws and not king meeting his prime minister,his second in command. Both the men also enjoy to have their own casual discussions, not related to heavy politics and conspirational dramas always revolving around the tag Royalty.
It's also the time when two best friends,their wives, interact to their heart's content without glaring royal rules breathing upon them.. only two people at the table most of the time remain shy and quiet...the elder's don't mind and don't think much deeper into it.

" Sing, your mom is asking you something"
" Are you not ok Singto, you seem totally distracted tonight, I know your exams are coming up, is the professors too hard on you my dear.?"
Alice's mom gently asks, though her words are already getting slurred..
" No Khun Mae, it's just I am tired after thesis discussion with my professor today."
Singto internally smiles, remembering his cute angelic looking so called profesor and his intoxicating smell and taste, and the heavy thesis discussion they did on bed under the sheets,and then inside the washroom....
" Poor boy.. queen Tiara, let's wrap up for tonight and let the younger ones rest..even Alice here had hardly slept during her exam days..don't tire her too much tonight, Singto dear."
