Iris stares with wide eyes and with growing alarm, when Godt again makes his way to their table.,. The other occupants at the table of the small quaint cafe beside their college, their coveted hangout place for lunch and sometimes after class snacks and gossip time ,tense up too,..
Iris is about to put down the drink tray with various of their favourite drinks for her newly formed core group which includes not surprisingly only three people, Prae, prince Kongpob and Arthit.. when her so called fiance has strutted in,like he bloody owns the place...
If this continues Iris knows she has to stop sitting with them..the thought itself makes her sad, she will lose the sense of belonging she has gained somehow again, she looks at Arthit, she will miss his laugh, his dimpled smile so similar to her late brother,his angelic aura, her mood literally dampenes thinking that Kong will definitely keep Arthit away from her..and she doesn't know how to salvage the situation..
It's been almost eight days, that she and Godt both have joined this university. Iris joined in faculty of business administration like Prae, Kongpob, Arthit and Godt joined to the faculty of medicine. Though Arthit and she, had met only for such a short span, the young man's face has literally lighted up seeing her with Prae in the senior's group...
They have somehow restricted themselves not to start chatting right away in front of everybody as she was introduced in the great hall as the newly joined student but once Iris has self invited herself with ever loyal Prae by her side, at the couple's table the conversation has flowed freely.
Arthit is naive but oh so cute and Iris has always wondered what is that connection she feels with this lonely soul.. because amidst crowd also,even after Kongpob's loving present by his side..
Arthit is like a little bird fluttering his wings, afraid to take flight.. somewhere extremely alone struggling with his own inhibitions...where this insecurities of his soul trickles from... Iris doesn't know but she wants to find out.. she fathoms she wants to protect him and feel like giving him the world of warmth and comfort..it's like they share a long-lost connection from somewhere.
Kongpob though had given disapproving glances at first, had not stopped them from interacting with each other..and Iris is grateful for that and she is thrilled to meet Prae.. they have even shared their first kiss..
Iris blushes thinking about the secret locker room kiss and heated make out session..but then her mood sours as she realises she is in midst of the cafe and Godt is few tables away by the door, she can even sense his dark tar like aura from where she is sitting..
It has always irked iris, that how can a evil hearted cold blooded man like Godt took medicine as his calling ..Iris can't still comprehend that incomprehensible fact, but Iris knows this much, this was one of the ways Godt has secured those vile narcotics he gave to prince Singto that night . Thankfully the prince survived the fated ordeal..
