Prae gets up only when someone softly jostles her shoulder.. her eyes catch the bright morning sun and she scrunches them shut, when the bright light trickling through them, becomes tolerable for her pounding almost sleepless night head, she opens them slowly.. and understands servers have come to wake the guests lying in various positions and hither thither around the pool and the makeshift camp fire area and barbecue party area ...
Prae feels an uncomfortable weight on her right shoulder and feels the human warmth before she sees the cuddled up figure to her bosom.. iris. She waves off the server indicating by thumbs up that she is alright but she feels extremely grateful when the man leaves two chilled bottles of water beside their pool chair and moves on to wake up another slumbering guest..
“ breakfast is ready miss..”
he informs, bows and leaves..
“ iris. Get up .. we have important work to do.”
“ five minutes .”
The girl snuggles more closer, seeking warmth and shade from little cold morning breeze and the bright light .. prae threads her finger lovingly through the luscious wavy locks..
“ iris .. Alice and Godt hasn’t gotten up still hopefully we should meet prince Kongpob or Arthit.. who knows if any dreaded news of prince Singto has arrived or not ..”
Iris gets up with a start, how can she forget what they have heard yesterday and her mission today .. hopefully someone did save the prince .. the party wouldn’t have gone on or the morning wouldn’t have been so peaceful if the crown prince has been missing .. right? She desperately hopes so that her Intuition is right...
Prae presses her shoulder in assurance, understanding the whirlpool of not so happy thoughts swirling inside the pretty head of her newly found friend(?)
Iris smiles at her gratefully.. Prae has been such an immense support since yesterday. She is the Major General’s daughter but her parents have already separated a long time ago and she has been raised by her mother away from all the pompous lifestyle .. that gives Prae an unique personality unlike any other of her circle of elites..
Iris herself also have always shied away from the royal limelight .. her brother who resembled Arthit quite a lot had been always her shield. But a freak automobile accident had changed her life upside down. Her kingdom was struggling with internal political conflicts and the royal family strongly suspects it was an internal sabotage, her brother’s accident and death..
Her kingdom doesn’t allow unmarried girls to ascend the throne and her father hurriedly got her engaged to their ally prince Godt.. though they all know how much despicable that man really is .. but what choice does her father have ? They needed a stronger kingdom support to stop the military uprising and stability to the government..
Iris has always be considered a little different in everything by her parents and her father wanted no such suspicion ever to arise regarding her in her new so called engaged relationship.
She has been repeatedly requested Infact begged by her parents to never let it slip out how she can sense a certain vibe from a person, infact their auras and how much she is repulsed by the dark brown molten murky vibe of prince Godt.. her so called fiancé who agreed to marry her only to get his paws on her kingdom, but atleast further blood shed got avoided..
She had resigned to her fate then, But meeting with Prae in this short getaway changed so many things .. now Iris foolishly hopes things can turn different in her life .. .
