~~~Monday~~~
Well, today's the day. My first day of school. Great... not. First off, my alarm woke me up at 6:30, which freaked me out and I fell out of bed. Then the water heater hadn't turned on yet, so I had to take a cold shower. And third, I couldn't get those words out of my head.
Finally I was ready for school wearing white skinny jeans, a galaxy jumper, and galaxy converse. I grab my skateboard, mentally trying to remember my way there considering I'm going to a new school because of the school zones.
After losing my way a couple times, I finally make it there. The building is two stories, a cream color, with blue trim, although some of the blue was peeling. The building had a preppy feel to it, and it cast a long, dark looming shadow. I walk up to the large doors, and push one open to see tons of teenagers rushing from place to place. As soon as someone notices me though, everything stops.
I heard some girls turn and whisper to other girl, I saw some boys look me up and down, but what really caught my attention was one girl in particular. She had slightly wavy, short black hair, although the right side was shaved. The earring on the shaved side was a silver hoop, with 5 small rings, each one color that made a rainbow. She had brown eyes, and a couple freckles. She stood in the middle of the hallway, staring at me with wide eyes. She was wearing denim skinny jeans, purple, and black converse with green and purple laces, and a jumper with a wolf and a moon. She squealed and ran up to me.
"Omg, hi! My name's Emma, and I love you and your dads!!" She exclaimed, after she ran up to me. "Oh, hi! I'm guessing you don't need me to tell you my name then?" I asked, slightly amused. She looked down and blushed "Umm, no. Sorry for kind of freaking out there." I laughed, and replied "No, it was kind of cute. Anyways could you show me to the front office?" I asked, knowing I needed to get a schedule. "Sure!" She said, she turned on her heels and walked through the hall, head held high and back straight, ignoring the strange looks she got from people. This'll be a long year.
