The milkshake, Sonic with Dan and Phil, and a long nights sleep made me forget and feel so much better for that Saturday. I had even woken up to breakfast being made for me. However, throughout the day, I felt slightly bored not constantly having someone text me. In fact Braden hadn't texted me once. Which was both relieving and stressful all at once. I didn't have to face him right now, but at some point, we would have to talk. But I wouldn't ever be ready for that 'some point.'
But just as I thought this, my phone lights up with a text from him. I hesitantly unlocked it.
Braden: 9x-7i>3(3x-7u)
Me: Wait, what is this?
Braden: Just solve it
Me: You're the one who's good at math...
Braden: Just solve it.
Me: OMG... I don't even know what to say...
Braden: I love you
Me: I like you too...
Braden: ...
What does this makes us?
Me: Whatever you want...
I was smiling like an idiot, which lead to both Dan and Phil asking what I was smiling about, seeing as we were all still sat in the living room. "Oh nothing." I say with a grin, and show the text to them. Despite feeling slightly awkward from my response, I was still happy. "Oooh, someone has a love interest." Phil said with a slight smirk on his face. Dan however didn't seem too happy, he actually seemed skeptical.
"What?" I asked quizzically to Dan. "I don't know, he's just... off somehow. Wasn't he the one who ignored you?" he replied. "Well, yeah. I guess. But I like him, he's atleast worth a shot, right?" I asked hopefully. "I suppose so." Dan said shrugging but still seemed skeptical, and Phil wrapped his arm around Dan's torso, Dan turned his head, and kissed Phil on his nose, making them both smile.
