3rd person's POV
Glory was ten when she ran into the Everfree Forest, hiding in the darkness that greeted her like it was the place where she belongs,
but unfortunately what she was running from saw her run into the forest but didn't know which way she went or what she hid under.
She watched and waited for what seemed like hours but was only a was only twenty minutes at most for the big red dragon to leave, after she made sure it was completely clear she emerged from under the tree she was hiding under to the burnt down rubble of her once beautiful home village,
as Glory starred with tears in her violet eyes formed as she called for her mother, father and younger brother, but to no avail has she ever got a call back.
"They must have left without noticing I was gone, maybe they'll come back to look for me." she thought as she hoped to find her family again.
With the necklace her mother and brother gave her, she returned to the forest with nothing but a heavy heart, lucky bracelet and the purple diamond necklace strung around her neck so delicately and graceful.
