I roll over in my bed, sunlight suddenly hitting me in the face. I groan and look at my alarm clock, it reads Sunday 1:48 p.m.
My bed is next to my window and my head is level with it. I look out across the courtyard, the sidewalks, the buildings, the mini fields, the sculptures made by students, and I sigh. I see the same thing everyday.
I watch the benches in the yard for hours, the squirrels, the few students that rarely walk there, the fountain. I do the same thing everyday.
I don't get up for the rest of the day, I just lay in bed and stare until the sky goes dark and I fall asleep.
Alexander POV ————————
BEEP BEEP
My alarm clock wakes me up at 7:03 a.m. exactly.
I get up, walk into the bathroom and close the door, making sure I hear the little click before I get undressed and get into the shower.
When I get out of the shower, I get into a fresh change of clothes and I brush my hair back into a low ponytail. I redo it a few times because it looked wrong.
I grab my bag, walk outside, and go to the library.
I look through all of the shelves, hunting for some good books. I find six, write their names down on my list in my computer, and leave.
I go back to my dorm to finish my extra credit work.

"Laurens!! LAURENS!! I know you're in there!" Lafayette yells as he pounds on Laurens' door
Laurens groans and wakes up. He stumbles over to the door and opens it.
"Hey Laf." He mumbles
"I haven't seen you in forever, are you okay?" Lafayette asks in a concerned tone
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I just haven't been getting that much sleep." Laurens lies
"Okay, I'm glad to hear that you're okay. Anyways you reek, when was the last time you took a shower?" Lafayette asks
"I was just about to take one." Laurens lies again
"Okay..." Lafayette replies, not believing him "Sorry I interrupted you."
"It's fine, it doesn't matter." Laurens tells him
"Okay, well I'm happy that you're alright." Lafayette tells him and leaves
Lafayette POV ————————
I leave Laurens' dorm and text my other friend, Alexander.
