"Say pal, you don't look so good. You better find something to eat before night comes!"

You awoke with a  start, these words sticking with you as you sit up and open your eyes. Your story begins now...

First person PoV:

I slowly blink my eyes open, my eyes hurting almost instantly. As my eyes adjust, I take a look around. Based on the state of the trees, the idle temperature and the fact that I can tell that I'm about to sneeze, I make the assumption that the current season is autumn.

I decide to explore my current area, having figured out that, at the very least, I'm not in my forest anymore. I soon find a berry bush and begin picking.

As soon as I get done I hear a twig snap behind me, I turn around to see...

A rabbit. A tiny, little, rabbit... at least, that's what I thought upon first glance, but last I checked rabbits don't have horns. I get close, to try and examine it, but getting closer seems to cause the rabbits to run away screaming.

Despite the fact that I'm still curious about the antlers on that rabbit, I continue on, realizing that I'll need a better way to catch it. Only then do I notice the weight in my pants/shorts/skirt/ect. pocket, I pull it out and see that it's some kind of notebook with recipes for all kinds of traps, machines, weapons, armours, and more. The pages are yellowed and slightly torn, showing that it's been well used.
On one of the old pages I see a recipe for a 'rabbit' trap. After reading the instructions and seeing the needed items, I head out in search for materials.
