If only they knew, how you ache to feel the blood and hair and heart again. How you long to share your thoughts with someone. How you know the secrets of life and love and loss and death. How you inhale and exhale like everyone else.

They never realize how many lonely hearts beat under these broken stars. They never stop to think how people hope to find fall in love in even the worst situations. Most importantly, he, your father, never realized how his idea of protecting his young daughter deprived you with the chances of feeling alive, happy, and real.

To feel the warmth and comfort of love, and life and living. To not just exist among these carbon copies in the universe, but to see the universe itself and live in a never-ending adventure. He has mistaken security for a prison; he thought of them no differently.

And in the moment you I laid my eyes on you, you've enamoured me. How you sat in that booth, the most loveliest woman to ever walk the Icarus, in your lovely blue dress, it took me the matter of life-and-death adventure we had on an abandoned planet, in the middle  of nowhere to realize. . .
