"B-Branch! Wait!" Poppy shouted when she saw Branch start to walk away. "Poppy!" Barb yelled as saw Poppy run off to Branch.

"Please.. Stop!" Poppy shouted once Branch stopped in the middle of the woods. She catched her breath and said, "Please.. Im-"

"What?! You're sorry?" Branch shouted as tears ran down to his chin. He laughed but it quickly turned into sobs. "I knew it.. Again I'm.. I'm being left alone.."

"Poppy why couldn't you just tell. It would've hurt less.." Branch said. Poppy's eyes widened when she saw Branch turn around, color slowly fading out of him. His eyes looked lifeless. His expression changed into a dull one. "Branch.. Im sorry i didn't tell you first. I was.. I hurt you and i don't deserved to be forgiven but," Poppy took a few steps closer to him. "I'm not gonna leave you. I'll be there like how you were for me. It hurts that I damaged you this way.." She choked as she tried to hold back her tears.

Branch refused to look at her. He was hurt from Poppy's actions. He didn't know how to feel.

"I need time to think, don't come looking for me." Branch said sternly as he walked further into the woods, disappearing in the shadows.

Poppy frowned and turned. She never felt so relieved to see Barb walking toward her.

"Barb.."

"Hey, pinkie," Barb muttered as she hugged Poppy. She embraced her tightly as soon as she heard Poppy sniffling and sobbing.

They stood there for 10 minutes or so, Poppy clinging onto Barb as she cried.

"You done?" She asked sincerely as she felt Poppy pull away. "Yeah.. Oh god, your shirt," Poppy muttered, embarrassed when she saw Barbs wet shoulder.

"It's cool.. So you and Branch," Poppy let out a cry once she was reminded of Branch.

Barb sighed and pulled Poppy onto her chest. "Wanna stay over my place? Y'know to.. try and cope or something.."

Poppy nodded and with that Barb had led her to her flying ship or something.

Poppy rested her head against the edge of the ship or whatever.

She legs were dangling from the ship, she was at the risk of falling. She glanced at Barb who was tuning her guitar. She growled everytime it didn't turn out the way she wanted. It was cute.

After the incident with Branch.. She felt free for some reason but also felt guilty for Branch's homelessness.

Barb had let her stay for the weekend thankfully. To avoid Branch and everything else she left behind for a while. But she realized she would have to see Carol and Barb kissing and flirting all the time on this "peaceful" weekend.

Barb stood and looked at the orange sky, the sun was setting.

She looked over at poppy, she was moping as usual. Barb's instincts were to go and comfort her but something made her stop in her tracks.

Did she need space?

Did she need somebody to comfort her?
She couldn't read people well, normally she would act impulsively but in this situation it was difficult.

This was such a bad idea, Poppy thought.

A whole weekend with the person who she fell for.

She was happy that Barb took her time and tried to he patience.

She thought it was cute everytime Barb became a little frustrated. Thinking about her made her feel happy. Complete.

She looked over at Barb again, this time Barb was standing, looking right into her eyes.
"

Barb?" Poppy asked, a little confused.

"Sorry! Gosh, I was just zoning out!" She groaned as she covered her face to hide her embarrassment.

Poppy laughed a bit and said, "Wanna sit with me?"

Barb looked surprised at the question. "Yes!" She blurted out and frantically sat next to her.

Barb and Poppy watched the sunset slowly drop into the ocean. Barb was sound asleep on Poppy's shoulder, she looked so peaceful when she slept.
