San was rubbing the back of his neck heavily with a damp cloth. The skin was red and irritated. The omega watched with intent eyes for the alpha on the other side of the wagon, sat facing the wall, with his head down, his body hunched and he didn't even seem to be breathing because he didn't move an inch. The tension in the air could be cut by a knife.

Some time before, San thought that the worst of the worst could have happened, had they not acted quickly. If Hongjoong hadn't been that smart, San could have been in the worst situation and lost his baby.

When the incense was lit, San was very afraid. Hongjoong was in an uncontrolled state, with vibrant red eyes and fangs growing in his mouth, he was one of the most frightening alphas that San had ever met in his life and also one of the best in repressing himself, as if he had domesticated himself.

"Hyung! Stop! It's not you!" San was screaming at the top of his lungs. The wrists clamped tightly against the floor.

He thought he heard some human woman in the audience say that it was exciting, soon after a man kissed her neck, and the ringmaster laughed happily with the couple, saying that the puppy could be seen by them, if they were to participate in the next auction. He didn't think about it much now, but it was really a very problematic conversation.

Hongjoong was extremely strong. The sharp nails dug into San's wrists, and a trickle of blood came out of each one. If he squeezed a little more, the bone would be broken like a stick.

The biggest problem was San's shoulder, which despite all his previous injuries was almost completely healed, there where Wooyoung hit him with a shot still hurt every now and then. That night it was hurting like crazy.

Two minutes had passed and Hongjoong was taking so long that San found it strange, was he expecting anything? The master who laughed outside also noticed this delay and ordered a guard to do something.

Hongjoong's expression was one of pain as he felt a strong shock in his leg caused by the guard's weapon, a large stick with the tip glowing in small rays. Something similar was used to catch dogs on the streets.

"Hurry up! Chien sale!" Filthy dog in French. Everyone laughed at that action, except San and Hongjoong.

The alpha obeyed, grunting sharply, almost in tears. And San shuddered on the spot, a line of tears running down the corners of his eyes and falling to the floor.

Slowly his tunic was lifted, revealing San's underwear and shapely, slim legs. He felt horrible and tried to fight again, but stopped when Hongjoong approached San's ear, so close that there was no air between them.

"Link! ... San, a link!" In a trapped, nasal voice, Hongjoong whispered quickly.

San with a confused expression thought he had not heard correctly or clearly, until he felt the tightness in his wrists loosen. When he was able to look at Hongjoong's face again, this time he realized what was happening. At the very bottom of each nostril were two pieces of bread covering the entrances. A quick realization came to San, and he quickly grabbed Hongjoong's forearm, which also held San's.

His million-year-old instincts were quickly activated, like breathing. After a wave of energy and shock passed through their bodies, a link had formed, now they talked freely in each other's minds.

"San! I need to explain quickly, so don't say anything!" San nodded in agreement. "I can hold my breath for at least ten minutes, we only have that time to convince these idiots that we did this!"

Ten minutes. It was only ten minutes, Hongjoong was absurdly incredible for being able to hold his breath for so long, but he must have trained himself daily for it, and that dark thought saddened San to a level of becoming more angry with thoses humans.
