Chapter 26: £verything....

Dondre~

I pull up to the mansion gates after they've gone in. To guard stops me before I speed through.

Guard: What is your business being here.

I hesitate.

Me: I was following them. Theirs some things that need to be signed and done tonight, so if you don't mind.

He seems unsure but let's me in anyways. Driving through this park or path I got  closer to the house. No wonder Keke would want him instead of me.

As I approach the next gate I speed through before it closed. As I pull up to the house they have already made their way in.
How could Keke do this.

I jump out my car and walk around the back. As the back door opens I hear them laughing. Soon enough I hear foot steps coming my way into the kitchen. As I rush into the next living area, he's smiling getting water.

Him: why didn't you just come through the front door.

He turns to my direction. As I don't move Keke walks in asking who's he talking to.

Him: Your friend that was at the hospital.

I put my disappointed face on and shown myself. Keke looks at me then at him.

Keke: Oh dondre its not what it actually looks like. Um he's Kiara's father and yea and....its a lot to explain but if you'd listen.

Me: keke.

Keke: I know I'm sorry.

She gives me a hug. The dude behind us gets cheesed as I give her a quick kiss. She elbows me and introduces me to him.

Xavion: hi

Me: hi.

Keke: he wanted me to sign papers of him having some custody over Kiara.

Me: Why.

Xavion: excuse me.

Me: You haven't been their for Kiara when she needed you most, so why would you decide to pop up now.

He roughly slams the glass of water on the counter.

Xavion: I've always watched over my daughter for your information. I don't need to explain myself to ....whom.... Oh yea Who are you to my daughter again?

Me: I'm her father. I'm the father role in her life not you. Keke is my fiance not yours.

Keke: dondre I still didn't agree to that.

Xavion: you better watch how your talking to me.

Me: oh so your trying to be my father now.

Xavion: Keke and Kiara don't need you.

Me: so what makes them need you.

Keke: STOP guys its not worth the time.

Xavion walks to the next room with Keke following. So I just follow along too. He starts gathering the papers and putting them away.

Keke~

Xavion seems peed....and so am I. Dondre needs to stop following me everywhere I go. He's not my boyfriend so what makes him think he's my fiancée. Xavion starts putting away the papers.

Me: aren't you gunnn let me sign them.

Xavion: no it's fine.

I touch his arm. He hesitantly looks at me.

Me: give me the papers.

He passes the papers and I start signing. I didn't even read the first page. I started drifting asleep as soon as Xavion left the room. Until I heard Xavion talking to himself....well dondre.

Dondre: Keke why are you doing this.

Me: he's her father dondre.

Dondre: I don't think this is a good idea.

Me: dondre, I'm her mother not you. I think I know what will benefit my child.

Dondre: clearly you don't because you keep messing up with Kiara.

Me: excuse me.

Dondre: you've already put to enough men into her life and your willingly going to  lawfully put this one in. What kind of mother doesn't get the point or understand how confused their girl child is. I feel bad for Kiara sometimes. How do you expect to be a good mother and pulling these stupid antics, especially in the state your in.

Me: Get out.

Dondre: what.

Me: Get.Out.

Dondre: listen Keke I didn't mean it like that.

Me: and this is why I didn't say yes.....

Dondre: Wait Keke I'm sorry.

Me: GO. BYEEEEE. GET OUT OF MY FACE.

dondres voice cracks as he says no. He tries to take my hand but really. Doof..

Me: I didn't need to hear that right now, especially from you.

He leaves and Xavion is sitting on the couch with his head in his hands.

Me: where else do I sign.

Xavion: you don't need to sign them Keke. Its ok.

Me: No Xavion I'll sign them.

Xavion: No

Me: WHY.

Xavion: BECAUSE THOSE ARENT CUSTODY PAPERS.

I fling the papers upon the floor and start to break down. He tries to comfort me but I just can't take any of this anymore. Dondre said the truth, its just something I didn't wanna hear.

Xavion: those are marriage papers.

Me: WHAT.

Xavion: I know, I'm sorry.

Me: why would you do that.

Xavion: Because I'm tired, I'm tired of being so lonely and knowing I have a family out their. Everyone sees me as they bad guy. I just wanted someone to see me different and Kiara does. Out of all people in this world Kiara ,my daughter, does. And I thought you were too.

Me: To be honest I was, until the marriage thingy.

Xavion: I'm sorry. But The real custody papers are up stairs.

I follow him upstairs to his little office in his bedroom. Before I can pick up the pen, I'm being lifted and thrown on the king sized bed. Before screaming could take place his soft lips are on mine and

Everything stops.

Everything feels different.

Everything feels almost right.

Everything I'm feeling I've never felt before.

Everything right here and now feels right in my heart.

But Why?
