Chapter 27

"I won't listen to you Sarawat, we have to come back and you cannot stop me! Fong remained in the campus just to help us and we can't leave him alone like that! Especially now that he needs our help!" Tine said as he took his things 

"I agree" 

"Don't try to... wait what? Do you mean that I can go and that you won't try to stop me?"

"I'm telling you that I will come with you as well, I don't know if I want to come because I want to help him or just because I don't want to feel guilty fro the rest of my life, the only thing that I know for sure is that we're going to come back to that campus... I'm quite sure that it will be useless... but we should try, am I right?" Sarawat replied

"Ok ok..." 

Tine and Sarawat got out of Sarawat's house, they avided the main street fearing that someone could spot them

"Oh my..." Tine whispered with wide eyes

"What? Oh shit..." 

"Come on, I don't want to waste my time here, hurry up with those corpses... or do you want to get infected too?" a soldier said to another one

"are you sure that you can get the virus just by standing beside a corpse? Because I don't know?" the other one replied

"Tine, move, if they see us we're fucked!" Sarawat said with a slightly too high tone

"hey, did you hear that?" the second soldier asked

"I don't know what you're talking about but hurry up, we're already lucky that we didn't get the job at the palace, they aren't having a good time, there are always people trying to stop this madness... but I think that this will just get worse..." 

Tine and Sarawat continued walking, they reached what looked like a small market, there was a car next to it and a guy who was standing beside it with a stick in his hands, Sarawat looked carefully

"Wait... that he's an engineering student... what are they doing here? I knew that it got easier for them to get out of the campus but I didn't think that they could steal a car too" Sarawat said almost chuckling

"Mek, I think that we should go now, there's no place left for anything else, we should call the other group and tell them to come here so that they can take the rest" Boss said

"ok, I will call King then, he shouldn't be that far from us" 

"Yeah right... do you think that this is going to help?" Boss asked

"I actually don't know, it should calm the freshmen down since we're helping them... but what are they going to think after the new council will beat that poor guy to death? And if they found someone... it might mean that the group that wants to start a new rebellion is pretty big... just one hundred freshmen and the council will lose the control of the campus again." Mek said. Boss started chuckling so Mek asked him why he was doing so

"Well Mek... you barely talked back then, how is it possible that you became so wise and ready to give detailed explanations everytime you open your mouth?"
