No one's pov
It was storming out, the air was littered with pouring rain. Staggered breathing fought with the sound of the rain and rushed footsteps dragging themselves across the puddling ground of an alleyway. A small body stumbles onto a wall. Shaking hands fumble to tie torn cloth around a bloody abdomen. Pushing off the wall, grunts of pain escape the girl's mouth as she continues to run.
Exiting the maze of alleyways, the girl is blinded by bright city lights. After rubbing her tired eyes to help adjust to the lights, she's throw back into the darkness of the alleyway by a blast of explosions. A group of villains were attacking the citizens with no heroes around. The one causing the explosions went after a large group of innocents all screaming for their lives. The ten foot reptilian villain alerted a normal looking man that seemed to be their 'leader' that he noticed a child being blown into the nearby alleyway.
After being notified, the man released the giant onto the city as he slowly turned around to face the alleyway. "You can't hide from me, child." The girl stands against a wall, glaring at man. "Quite the look in your eyes, almost like a killer's, I like it!" He takes a step forward. Lifting his hands as lightning sparks out of palms, "but I'm going to have to kill you for seeing us here today. Sorry but goodni-," his lightning goes out and is abruptly thrown against the same wall that the girl leaned on.
The girl then hurries to the street, but isn't greeted by the warming bright lights. Instead is met by the tall reptilian man towering over her frame. Being grabbed by the throat, the girl is lifted off the ground as the villain began to laugh. Mid laugh the giant is scorched by blue flames, making him let go of the female. Anticipating a collision to the solid concrete, she tenses, only to be caught by a pile of red feathers.
A red headed boy flung blue flames around while a blonde with red wings jumped around aiding the fire boy. Then suddenly both boys were pushed back and struck with similar red lightning. Craters were being made in the street as the boys are constantly thrown down and shocked. The normal-ish man walked out from behind the girl with his arms extended out, "sorry kids, but play time is now, OVER!" He shouts the last word as light emits from his palms and eyes. The dark clouds began to circle above as red strings of light strung around the villain. Both boys share a look at each other then to the small girl crouched low to the ground. Both pleaded for her to run away.
The ground began to shake, thunder pounded, and the red lights stop. The villain lowers his hands and examines the surroundings confused. Randomly; the buildings burst and crash against themselves, rocks being tossed around, fire spewed out from cracks in the ground. Steam radiated off the small girl, as wind danced around the two boys slicing at any rocks that got too close to them.
Then all at once, things collided together. Everything goes dark as a thick cloud of dust covers the city block. After a bit of time, the rain ceases. Rays of sunlight began to crawl out from behind the dispersing clouds. Helicopters fly over filming as reporters comment on the scene.
As the dust clears, two boys are faced with a destroyed city side and two of the villains sprawled around, knocked out. Out of no where a scruffy man shows up yelling at the two boys. Mid rant, he catches sight of a small girl standing straight covered in blood. Before he could say a word, she turns just enough to look at him and the two kids behind him. She then crouches down, placing both of her hands on the crumbled concrete.
Once again, everything starts shaking. Rocks slowly flinging up in the air one after another, the buildings begin to rebuild themselves. When everything (buildings and streets) were fixed to their original states, the girl coughs out blood and falls over. Shouts and rushed footsteps filled the quiet air. Soon the girl fell numb, darkness filling her vision as silence rung her ears. Leaving her to fall unconscious, drifting off into darkness...
