No one's pov
"AGAIN!" Agent Eleven commands. The three roommates have been in a room 'training' for a good solid five hours now. Touya has been using his fire quirk non-stop to try and take down the girl and Keigo who has been running from him, like a game of tag. Yet Touya is the 'it' all of today's training.
It's been about a few months since the girl was adding into the equation. Keigo and Touya have yet to come up with a name to call the girl, so they've been sticking with 'sis' for the time being. Even though the higher ups all called her 'Zero' because they had no data on her, or had any clue of her abilities and quirk. All three kids, nearly teenagers, have improved their quirks and physical abilities so much, that most of the others in the facility have began to steer clear of them out of slight fear. Not that they actually cared.
A loud thud sounded through the now silent room, the girl had tripped from exhaustion. Keigo, being the closest to her, dashed over and helped her up. Gaining an annoyed cough from behind a window in the wall. "That'll be all for now, go get cleaned for physical exams!" Eleven told them, only to walk out of view.
-Time Skip-
Touya was sitting between his two roommates when something popped into his head. He gave Keigo a side glance, earning him a nod back from the blonde. Turning to the girl he blurts out, "Y/N!!"
Zero, the girl, looked at Touya confused until Keigo spoke up, "we were talking last night...we came up with it." He gave her a small smile. She looked at them then her hands. They watched as drops of water dropped down her cheeks and onto her hands sh had clenching to the hem of her shirt. "Wa-what's wrong?! If you d-don't like it we can just think of something else, please don't cry!" They panicked. The girl shakes her head, "no, I like it...it's just I've never had...one" she looks up facing them, "Y/N, I'll treasure it for as long as I live!" And for the first time, she smiles.
Touya chuckles and hugs her along with Keigo before realizing something. He pulls away from the hug and faces them, scratching at his scalp, "though I've heard that once we get out of here, our names won't exist, like we were never who we are now..." Y/N chuckles at him, Keigo flenches at the new emotion she's showing and scoots closer to Touya. "We'll just have to come up with hero names together!" She gives yet another bright smile, not realizing the blushes growing on the boys' faces.
-Time Skip- (about a year later)
"Keigo! Touya!" Y/N shouts excitedly, rushing out of the bathroom with wet hair. The two boys give confused glances to each other before giving all their attention to her. "Dabi!" She points to Touya, "your quirk is like cremation! People use it to stay close to those who have already passed, keeps people happy!" She turns to Keigo, "Hawks!" She smiles, "you're incredibly smart, your senses are far above average, your fast as hell...And you remind me of my favorite bird, a hawk!"
She gives her roommates the brightest expression she's ever had, she was just so happy. It went quiet, and after five minutes her smile began to fade, had she messed up?
"H-Hawks it is!" Keigo slightly chocked out.
"How come I don't get a name of something you get like bird brain?! I get a name from my quirk..." Touya gives off a disappointed look. Y/N replied by a soft voice almost not loud enough to be heard, "but Dabi is cool..." He was defeated, "Dabi it is, I love it!! Thanks Y/N!" The two of them hug the girl, soon all falling asleep after laughing.-Time Skip- (yet another year)
Walking through the halls, Y/N notices her familiar red headed roommate. Few door later, Touya comes into vision, bandaged arms wrapped around his knees and his head hiding from the light. He was sitting in a dark corner away from anyone. Feeling a presence leaning on the wall next to him, he looks up to see his female roommate starring into space.
A sigh leaves Touya's lips, "you know, you should really stay away from me, Y/N." Their eyes meet. "I don't want to end up hurting you too, you're like a sister to me..." he looks hack at the ground in front of him.
"And I'd rather get hurt than watch as my brother distances himself away from me and Keigo while suffering...Touya, you and Keigo mean more than life and the world itself to me, I won't just sit and let you leave!" Y/N answers, slipping to the ground next to him, leaning her head on his shoulder.
Touya rests his head on top of hers, "but I'd rather suffer alone than to hurt you or him, I wouldn't know what'd I do without you." He gave her a side hug, "no matter what happens, just know I've always loved you sis."
Y/N opened her mouth to respond, only to be cut short by a data intelligence interrupted, "Zero! You're to go into exam room C!" And with that, Y/N leaves Touya without a word said, not even looking back at him.
"Look after Keigo for me Y/N!" She didn't know why he'd ask that of her, but promised to herself that'd she'd protect both of her friends with her own life, no matter what.
But what she didn't know, was that, she wouldn't see him again...
Touya never went back to their room that night. The next day, he never showed up for breakfast. Keigo and Y/N went to training without him, only for the warm up being called short. Agent Eleven walked in, having them follow him through the hallways. Ending up out back. The elder stood there with a depressed look glued to his face.
Keigo and Y/N were then filled in with the information that they never wanted to hear, Touya...was gone. Not just as a runaway, but from the world itself. They never explained why, or what happened to him, both roommates had an idea, but everything's went blank in a blink of an eye.
Y/N and Keigo stood in shock before the girl dashed away, tears pouring from her eyes. Keigo followed after her soon after...
They had just lost one of their reasons of living.
