Chapter 14: I Am Not Okay With This

Carlos POV

Meanwhile at the party for The Knights win for the first time in forever, thanks to Jay. It was fun, for them, but really I'm not really fond of parties that much and they had alcohol in their punch and really just straight-up beer.

So I just stayed in the corner, and just drink my last sip of water in my cup. I just want to go back to the dorm...

My thoughts came to a stop when Jay came by me and said, "Hey, 'Los! A fun party isn't it?" I can feel the heat in my face to ears and neck, "heh, yeah! Where's Mal and Evie?"

Jay looks upstairs to where their dorm is, "they're in their room, they're trying to find out a plan to get our parents to take over Auradon, they wouldn't mind if we go up there with them." He said as he grabbed my wrist and took me upstairs.

"You know, it's not really fun down there, it's okay. But I-" "listen if you didn't like the party, that's all you have to say."

I gave him a pity smile and walked in the room the girls were talking but it stops when Jay slams the door, "oh sorry, uhm am I interrupting something?" Mal rolled her eyes and said, "Well you are part of this aren't you?" with the irritation and stress in her voice that she means business and she has no time for jokes.

It was getting too awkward, so I had to break the silence, "Okay, do you got a new plan or something?" She looks at me, Jay, and Evie with this guilty face which is kind of the first to ever see that, at least once in a lifetime. "Well ever since the date, I think I want to stop Ben from loving me because if he finds out what I've done or planning, it's going to crush him," she said with a pause as she flips to another page, where she reads the anti-love potion.

"Mal, are you kidding me? You really want to break Ben's love spell?" Jay questions her, "listen, we all know how we're going to do this, and plus I really want to be bad, or maybe even evil. But that's a little bit crueler, too cruel for my liking. He's a good guy, and we're not. And if he stays like this, it will soon break me and I don't want to use someone's affection and then take over their world just like that with no remorse. Come on guys, I have a heart, and maybe...I love him?"

"What?" We all said in unison, Mal sighed out of frustration and got out of her chair, "I need a break I'll be in the kitchen if you guys need me.." she said as her voice cracked, "M, wait!" Evie said before Mal closed the door on us.

"Well, we can just chill up here if you want us to, Eve's," I said as she smiles a little bit and got her makeup kit and hair supplies, Jay and I look at each other. This is not going to end well...

A few minutes later she gave Jay a head message and put a couple of oils in his hair, and she was putting some strawberry lipgloss on my lips, saying that I have full lushes, and kissable lips and they need something on them to pop off.

I looked at myself in her mirror, "hmm, I look cute or whatever," I smirked, "you look really good, 'Los." Jay complimented, I blush, "well, I'm going to take a shower and put on my pajamas and watch a movie, I'll be right back."

I slammed myself on one of the girls' bed with a sigh, "don't you think, we should keep doing this stupid plan, just to prove our parents were the best?" I say as Jay laid down beside me, "Yeah I think so too, but knowing Mal, she won't stop at nothing just prove people wrong,"

"She can be a bitch, but she's our bitch.." I said nonchalantly, Jay just burst out laughing and as soon as I looked at him, I started laughing too, we slowly stop laughing and looked at each other.
