Chapter-11

Doctor said that dad was fine now but it was his second heart attack so all of us have to be careful. Dad had to spend a night in the hospital. I sent mom back home with Jeonghan. It was me, unnie, oppa and Dino in dad's room.

"All of you should go home now. You all must be tired." I say.

"Y/N, let us stay here. You'll get tired alone." Unnie suggests.

"I'll not unnie. Believe me. Jin oppa can you drop unnie and Dino back home?" I asks oppa.

"Of course Y/N. Let's go all." He stands up along with unnie.

"Noona, I'll stay with you." Dino says firmly.

"Dino, don't forget you have a competition tomorrow. You can't miss it. Go home and get some rest." I order him. He sighs.

"Besides, I'm also here with Y/N. All of you don't have to worry." Jeonghan interjects while leaning at the door. When did he come? All of them exit the room. Jeonghan stares at me and then exits the room. Strange.

Dino POV

I exit the room and sit on a chair. Jisoo noona asked if I was okay.

"I'm fine. Go ahead. I'm coming." I reassure her. They both leave. A few tears escape from my eyes. Suddenly someone sits beside me and side hugs me. It was Jeonghan hyung.

"Oh hyung. I thought you were inside." I say and wipe my tears immediately.

"Yeah, you thought that nobody was around so it's the right time to let all the emotions out." Hyung pauses and looks at me.

"Look Dino, it's not bad to show your emotions infront of others. Infact, we all aren't just others. We are your friends, your family. You can share your worries and feelings with us. With Y/N, with Jisoo, with your mom, with me. We all are here for you, for each other. Now tell me why were you crying?" Jeonghan hyung asks while patting my head.

"I was just worried about dad. I don't want to lose him. I need him." I say. Hyung hugs me.

"Don't worry. Nothing's gonna happen to uncle." He says. I hug him back.

"Thank you hyung. I thought I'll not be able to open up to anyone after Seokmin hyung. But guess I was wrong. You are really like a second brother to me." I smile. Hyung smiles back.

Y/N POV

Dad was sleeping. I was staring at the stars out of the window of hospital's room. Suddenly, a hand comes infront of me holding a cup of tea. I look beside to see the one holding it only to find Jeonghan.

"I know you don't need anyone's help. I just came to have some tea with you." He smiles after saying that. I chuckle and take the cup from him after thanking him.

"Stars are looking beautiful tonight." I say.

"They look beautiful every night Y/N. It's your first time noticing them." He replies.

"I guess it is." I say.

"Believe me I see them everyday." He says. I look towards him. He was already looking towards me. I look away immediately and sit on the couch. God, why everything with him ends up getting awkward?

Next Morning

I wake up to see Jeonghan sleeping on the sofa in a very uncomfortable position. He is really stubborn. I told him to go back but he just didn't listen. Dad was also sleeping. It was 7 am in the morning. I thought of going out and buying breakfast for us. I exit the room quietly.

Jeonghan POV

I wake up after hearing a thud from the door. I look around to see if Y/N was here but she wasn't. I call her.

Jeonghan: Hey. Where are you?

Y/N: Hey. Did I wake you up? Sorry.

Jeonghan: No, you didn't. Where are you btw?

Y/N: I came out to buy breakfast for us. I thought you would be hungry. I'll be back in 15 minutes.

Jeonghan: K.

She ends the call. That means I'm alone for now. I feel someone's stare  at me. I turn around and see Dino's dad awake. He was staring at me. To be honest, whenever I see him I get emotional. I feel extremely bad and guilty. I sit at the chair beside his bed and gulp.

"Good morning uncle. I'm Y/N's friend Jeonghan. It's only me and you here for now. Everyone say that you can't listen but I don't know why I feel that you can listen everything. I want to tell you something. Something I've been wanting to confess for a long time. Actually.."

Y/N POV

It took me almost an hour to buy breakfast. I messaged Jeonghan but he didn't reply. I guess he went back to sleep. I enter the hospital and go towards Dad's room. I open the door to see Jeonghan sitting beside Dad. He was looking a little sad. His eyes widen after seeing me.

"You're back. I.. I was waiting for you." He passes a smiles but a fake one?

"Sorry for making you wait." I smile back.

"Don't say sorry. Let's eat." He helps to set the lunch up. We begin eating. I think about something while eating. Jeonghan acts suspicious sometimes. Is he hiding something? Or maybe I just can't figure his bipolar ass out. Whatever it is, I'll figure it out.
