Chapter-6

I smile recalling that memory and notice that my cheeks were wet from tears. I have no control on my emotions now a days. I wipe them and smile for Seokmin. I can't cry. I have to live happily for him.

By living, I remembered today's incident. I was about to die but luckily Jeonghan saved me. I owe him for a lot of things now but I'm also confused. Why was his expression blank after saving me? He was looking pale like he was the one about to die.

Maybe he was just scared and worried for me but even Jisoo unnie was not looking like that. Ugghh. I'm just overthinking. Yeah, he must've been like that because of work's pressure. I shake my head on my weird thoughts and close my eyes. Soon I was in deep slumber.

Next Morning

I wake up around 6 am. It was still early. I didn't wake up from a nightmare today which was good. I get up from my bed and go towards my window. It was snowing outside. Wow. I immediately rush to the backyard to see the snow. It was looking beautiful.

I spread my arms and spin around slowly enjoying the first snow of winters. Suddenly, tears start rolling down from my eyes. Seokmin. I was missing him again.

We used to wish together on the first snow. We used to always enjoy this season together. I place my hands on my face and start sobbing. Suddenly someone removes my hands from my face. I open my eyes to see Seokmin holding my hands. I get surprise.

"What happened? You liked snow. Didn't you?" He asks and smiles a little.

"You always liked snow. Then what happened today? Why tears are flowing out of these beautiful eyes?" He wipes my tears. I just stare at him blankly.

"Time didn't stop after my death. Wind didn't stop, this snow didn't stop, day and night didn't stop then why did your life stop?" He asks with concern. He places his hand on my cheek and caresses it.

"Look Y/N, the time we spent together wasn't in our hands. It was our fate. Don't cry over that. Just remember the memories we lived together. And when you'll recall our precious memories, you'll only smile." He beams. I smile sadly.

"I can't come back Y/N. Your whole life is waiting for you ahead. I know you can't forget me. But remember me in such a way that helps you to live again. He's a nice guy by the way. I like him too." Seokmin says and confuses me. He kisses my forehead. I close my eyes to feel his touch. I open them and find him gone.

"Y/N what are you doing? Come back inside, you'll get cold." Jisoo unnie yells from the inside.

"Coming." I reply and go back inside. Seokmin's words were still lingering in my mind. I was slightly confused. Was he talking about Jeonghan? Or I'm thinking too much again.

After a Few Days

Company was alot more stable now. A lot of old and new employees joined. Everything was going in a better direction. Honestly speaking, it was all because of Jeonghan. I gave up on the company long ago. He was the one to convince me that we still had hope left.

All of his efforts paid off. We all are happy once again. Mom has invited us on a dinner today to celebrate company's success. She also invited Jeonghan and his friend with whom he was living. She wanted to thank Jeonghan personally.

It was a small get together. I was ready. I knocked on unnie's door and asked her to hurry. After 10 minutes both of us left our apartment and reached Lee's residence in 20 minutes. Dino greeted us.

"Oh my. Lovely noonas are here." He hugs us. We hand him chocolates and drinks.

"How are you Lee Chan?" Jisoo smirks.

"Nooona! Don't do this please." Dino whines.

"Just kidding." Jisoo grins. We go inside and greet Mom. Then we all sit down and begin to chat. The bell rings.

"I'll take that." Unnie exclaims and runs to open the door. Soon unnie followed by Jeonghan and his friend enter the living room. Jeonghan was looking hella good. I mean he always look good but today he was looking exceptional.

Wait a minute, what am I even thinking? I mentally face palm myself. Jeonghan and his friend greet Mom humbly and hand her a bag. Maybe they were sweets or chocolates or something. Mom thanks them. Then they greet others.

"You must be Ms Y/N. I'm Hoshi, Jeonghan hyung's friend. It's nice to meet you." He shakes my hand.

"Nice to meet you too Hoshi." I reply humbly. Hoshi meets others while Jeonghan approaches me.

"Hey." Jeonghan smiles.

"Hi. How are you?" I reply.

"I'm good. You?" He asks.

"I'm also good." I reply. Awkward silence surrounds us. Suddenly, we both laugh.

"Why are we being awkward with each other without a reason?" Jeonghan says with a grin.

"I don't know." I chuckle.

All of us help Mom in setting the table. Food was delicious. Hoshi and Dino were entertaining all of us which made it much better. Jeonghan and Hoshi were closer to Dino now especially Jeonghan. We all eat to our full. Mom was about to do the dishes.

"Mom, I'll do the dishes. You should go and enjoy." I assure her.

"I'll help her." I look around to see Jeonghan standing behind me. He then looks towards me.

"Let me help you." He says. Mom leaves us. We start doing dishes.

"You're not that bad of a helper." I praise.

"I know I'm the best." He brags. I roll my eyes.

"Kidding, thanks I guess." He smiles. We were almost complete with the dishes.

"Jeonghan." I call him.

"Huh?" He hums.

"Thank You." I confess.

"Why?" He asks curiously.

"Like you don't know at all." I scoff.

"The reason all of us are happy today is you. You helped all of us. You helped Lee Industries. Sometimes I think you don't only look like an angel but are somekind of an actual angel." I blurt out. After a second I place my hand on my mouth as realization hits me. What have I said?
