Chapter-15

Y/N POV

"Jeonghan hurry up. We'll be late. I don't want to give a bad impression." I say getting annoyed. Finally Jeonghan comes out of his room all ready and smiles innocently. Just how kids do after making a mistake.

"Don't smile." I say sternly because I knew if he keeps doing that, I'll melt. He pouts and follows me outside. We hail a cab to Kim Corporations.

"Sorry." He says in a tiny voice. I glance at him and smile. He was looking like a kid who just got scolded.

"I just wanted to look good." He adds with a grin after seeing me smile.

"You know you don't have to try." I say and soon realizes what I've said. Shit. Jeonghan smirks and my cheeks get painted in red color.

"Even if I ain't looking good, I would still be handsome to you. But that's not how it's for others, baby girl." He teases. I blush furiously.

"Don't be full of yourself idiot. And don't use annoying nicknames." I scoff and try to hide my red face by looking at the window.

"Ouch. That hurts." He acts fake hurt.

"Focus on the meeting Jeonghan." I suggest.

"Yes, I should. Then I'll be called oppa by you." He brushes his hair back. I blush again and look towards the window to hide it. Damn it. I'll get a heart attack at this rate.

After a drive of almost 15 minutes we arrive at Kim Corporations. It was almost 9:45 am. We enter the building.  I was kinda nervous. It was quite a big deal and the fact that the Ceo was arrogant just made it worse. Jeonghan sees through my nervousness and smiles at me.

"We've got it. Don't worry." He smiles at me. I nod back.

Receptionist leads us to the waiting area. A man was standing there looking no less than the ceo talking to someone on his phone. He wasn't much tall. Infact he was shorter than me but was giving quite serious vibes.

"Put the proposal on paper and send it to us. Thank you." He ends the call.

Jeonghan walks towards him followed by me and introduces himself.

"Mr. Kim Mingyu? I'm Yoon Jeonghan from Lee Industries." Jeonghan shakes his hand.

"Oh I see. But I think you misunderstood. I'm not Mingyu. I'm his manager Jihoon or you can call me Woozi. Nice to meet you by the way." He replies with a small smile.

"Oh." Jeonghan mutters slightly embarrassed.

"Please sit down. I'll let Mingyu know that you are here." He gestures politely and goes inside the room. Jeonghan sits down and begins to recheck all the files while I just place my bag on the couch and observe the room's decor.

Woozi POV

As I enter the room, our accountant and record manager were standing infront of Mingyu discussing something important. I stand beside Mingyu's chair.

"See Mr Woozi, as compared to previous year, our company has shown a lot of growth with a total profit of millions dollars." He tells with a satisfied expression. I congratulate him, he congratulates us back. Employees exit the room after discussion.

"Million dollars." He rests comfortably in his chair while saying.

"Woozi hyung have you ever noticed, the bigger the bank account's figure gets, the smaller our lives become. Nothing to do except work." He sighs.

"And then it means we have to rearrange our life. We need a change. A beautiful change." He adds and sighs again. I roll my eyes and my eyes land on Y/N.

She was busy admiring the decorations outside. Because of the one way mirror, she wasn't able to see us but we were seeing her. Mingyu's eyes follow my gaze and gets widen after seeing her.

"Woozi hyung. The beautiful change." Mingyu says with his eyes still glued to Y/N. He stands and goes towards the mirror to take a look at her properly. Seeing him like this for the first time, made me chuckle.

"What? Don't laugh. I'm serious." He complains and begins observing her again with sparks in his eyes.

"Looks like life wants to give me a chance to change and I'm not gonna miss it." He exclaims enthusiastically and opens the door to greet them.

Y/N POV

I get startle after a man opens the door rapidly. He was a fine tan handsome man taller than Jeonghan looking around our age wearing a business suit.

"Hi. I'm Kim Mingyu. You can call me Mingyu." He waves his hand and introduces with a smile. So he is the arrogant ceo. Well not so arrogant. I smile politely. He looks behind me.

"Hi there." He greets Jeonghan in a friendly way. Jeonghan comes towards us. Mingyu offers him his hand.

"Hi. Yoon Jeonghan." He accepts Mingyu's handshake.

"Mingyu. Please come in and take a seat." Mingyu says and directs us into his room. He sits at his chair while I sit infront of him. Mr Woozi also sits down. Jeonghan goes to the side of Mingyu's table.

"I'm the operations' manager. And Ms Y/N is our managing director." He introduces and begins explaining about the deal. The advantages they'll have by working with us. The little mistakes they made in their past deals. We tried our best in convincing them. They both were quite impressed by the presentation.

"Interesting work." Mingyu compliments. Jeonghan hands Mingyu the hard copy of presentation.

"Thank you for meeting with us." I say while excusing ourselves. Mingyu escorts us out of his room.

"It was nice meeting you." Mingyu says and shakes my hand. He keeps shaking my hand.

"Excuse me." I say awkwardly smiling. He leaves my hand.

I feel Jeonghan looking pissed in my peripheral vision. He tries to hide it with a smile. But guess I already saw him. After saying goodbye, we exit the building feeling somewhat satisfied because I knew we were gonna get this deal.

Mingyu POV

"Woozi hyung." I call hyung while watching their disappearing figures from a far.

"What?" He asks curiously.

"I'd like to know about Lee Industries and Kim Y/N." I say. It's time to know about the girl who stole my heart at the first meeting.
